I usually don't watch video essays by religious channels because my hunch is that they will not be able to get over their own religious bias, but I thought I would give this a chance. In the beginning, it was fair, and apart from the occasional very subtle dig, you refrained from trying to drag Satanism. But then in the second half... oh dear. You just can't help yourselves, can you? A lot of eye rolling and long-suffering sighs, but when it came to this line onwards, I was genuinely appalled. Genuine Christianity, which is naturally the variety that you follow, out of the hundreds of denominations which variously accuse each other of heresy. Uh huh. Tradition: this is so vague. Can you explain to me why your particular flavour of Christian "tradition" is something that my life is poorer for not having? My "tradition" is living free from fear and psychological abuse, and learning all about this remarkable and beautiful planet we live in, and not restricting and punishing myself based on a book some middle eastern zealots wrote a couple thousand years ago. Virtue: 😂😂😂 Ok, genuinely almost spat my drink at that one. How the hell are you more virtuous than me, because you believe what it says in the bible? Christians have committed far more less-than-virtuous deeds than Satanists, your claim is so demonstrably untrue it's hilarious. Redemption: Another vague, christian-centric platitude that is ultimately meaningless when used in a blanket statement like this. Redemption from what? When a Satanist does something wrong, they take responsibility for it, and work to rectify any wrongdoing they can.
