I think lithium mining and the damage it causes is not worth the risk. And for what? To build cars that rely primarily on fossil fuel generated electricity to recharge them? It just feels like an environmental hazard shuffle.

the fact that you have to use your Waste production into something usefull means there might be some overproduction of the product. taking away habitat for example bird or small insects.

You never mentioned the really dangerous PFAS chemicals like bis-FASIs they put into the environment. Much more dangerous than anything else in the batteries. They never tell you about that chemical. You need to Google it to find the truth.

Appears that electrifying the world will definitely destroy the world water system. All these chemicals will eventually make it into the water through evaporation and dam leakage. Just a thought. Interesting video. Should really compare the mines to fossil fuel extraction, which are much more wasteful because fossil fuels are sungle use. A lithium battery is good for 100,000 miles at least. A gallon of gas is gone in a day.
