Tilta Nucleus Nano II not working with two motors.
Awesome mate, think most people would be scared by the cost of them though. Also note that weight adds up quickly when you stack them up. Still trying to figure out my setup. All the best.
I use the Falcam F50 system and it's great. I made a same mount to yours for my DJI Ronin RS4 Pro. I use it also for the DJI Focus Pro for which I use the F38/F22 to build my camera rig and it's great, very well engineered.
That is a dope light!
Witch Low Profile Cables do you use ? I just found crap ones on Amazon or pretty expensive ones...
I use Cable Techniques.
Great set-up, nice and organized.
Forgive my naivety but why not just use a plug on tx to a small rx in your pocket or bag...?
Where did you get those little clear lav boxes?
Those are from Amazon. They are for storing beads for sewing.
this is an excellent comparison video. As objective as could be. And you're also a great model. The um.. perfect head shape to showcase the light!😂
Those screws are for you to remove the gear rack on the back (4 small screws)
I ordered that Zoom F8n the other day, should be here today actually, can't wait to sit with in for 4 hours fiddling and having fun with it and getting it all set for my gigs I plan to start marketing and advertising for. Didn't see the need for the F8n Pro and pay the extra price for 32bit when it's not really needed.
Is your ISO on auto? I notice when you move that the lighting automatically changes. Also it looks like you're not shooting in a cine or LOG profile. In Cine, expose to 0.0 or -1.0. In LOG, expose +1.5 to +2.00 stops. If you are in any auto settings, turn all the auto off, it's killing you my guy. Lastly, order a K&N VND 1-9 stop so you can have a good variation of light adjustments. not expensive at all. Always follow that Histogram(or the exposure meter) if you can.
Dude not having to carry sandbags is huge!
How do you transport all the transmitters? Does you're bag go in a case?
@@laughingthrushmusic5269 Great question. They all live in a hard case. It’s currently not the most elegant way or storing it, but it works. I’ll probably make a video on that as well.
thanks for the video, it is pretty sweet setup. I am also using little bit more budget version of it. F6 and k-tek bag as body. 2 g3's and 1 Sony wireless for ifb. Also dividing the sub into my zoom f1 for backup bc I don't have a second slot for SD 🙃
Nice, yeah the backup recorder is a great insurance.
Unfortunately these are plagued with problems, I have issues with it as well after firmware update. I cannot re install firmware the menu isn't working correctly and tilta is horrible for manuals or instructions just some outdated videos, their suggestion is send it back , after just a couple of days
Very correct. I managed to find a solution but it also wasn't 100% and failed on my on set.
Thank for sharing! What hard case is that? and where did you get those little clear cases that you keep the little things in?
@@zazvideo Of course. The case is Pelican im2400 and the clear cases are from Amazon. They are designed for sewing beads.
Great video man
Feelworld are fantastic! The only downside is that they’re made out of plastic.
Love the color grading on the interview
I wish I had a 600 watt
try double clicking the motor to make it go into pair mode then touch the A# on top of your handwheel then search and confirm and pair it.
1st to like the video, second to comment. :) Keep it up, Kong!
Hey, busy is good! You can always film something at home for fun.
does the zoom f3 have preamps to boost the contact mic signal? do all field recorders have this? (such as tascam H1n)?
@@Fifteen_Fifty Yes you can adjust the preamp levels on the F3.
I suspect a vest with spring loaded arm may be a better start. Adding a gimbal, monitor, lens controls to top it out. It would be a lot lighter to carry. Battery pack for the lower gimbal gravity factor.
Bro, you are breathing heavy!
Ayy I saw your gimbal video and I'm super impressed with your quality and you also seem like a really chill person :)
Aswome!
my dude basically recreated what they used on The Creator; cool stuff!
Sports!
Love that CG Cine battery! I have one myself.
Cool. Im fully invested as well to always needin parts but coiled cables. Lot on the shelf or floor😂🤪i flip my monitor cuz i dont use a cage so bumping hdmi is a concern for me. The under slung looks cool🤷🫡Thank You
That plate that you have your gimbal mounted to on the shoulder rig is a serious weak point. Get a beefier plate!!!!! The one that OD Hunte sells is expensive, but its cheaper then having your camera and gimbal fall when that plate cracks. The plate you are using right now, might not show any outward metal fatigue.....but seriously it is constantly flexing and it WILL break!!!
In two months I'll see a video titled, "So guys, I bought a steady cam"
Haha, I actually did buy it, but it didn't work out.
Thank you! From your demo (and others) I really like the audio. Probably better than my Fulaim X5. BUT... the Rx not fitting the phone in a case is a major fail for me. Thanks for mentioning it as no-one else talks about that even though this sort of Rx fitting is typically a problem! No trouble with my X5.
You're welcome. Glad I could help out.
Yeah, those Falcam f50s are IT!
I’m having the same issue. Got two motors working with Tilta Advanced Ring Grip, but it starts to have issues after motors slip on the focus rings. Has been driving me insane trying to get it to work!!
*having the same issue - running two motors with Nucleus Nano II.
So I tried it again and I daisy chained the USB cable from the first motor to port 2 on the second motor. Try that and hopefully, it works out.
Thanks @KongThaoSound! I tried this and it worked, but the issue I’m having is the motors slipping off the focus rings. They slip and then get stuck and I’m stuck with motors not spinning. I must need to adjust the Torque and A/B points for the chosen lens.
@@paulcurtis4188 I see. Maybe you need to secure the lens. Usually, the lens mount wiggles from the focus motor pushing it. If you look at my setup, I have my lens tied to my 15mm rod with velcro so it doesn't move around. That might be what you're experiencing.
"A carts a cart ... until it's not good" 🤣
🤣
Do a backflip!
Great comparison brother, very helpful
Great video 😃
I heard you say you change the ISO to expose. The FX30 has two native ISO's. if. you derive from those it will look correct in LCD but not in the recording. I suggest using a VND. Go to hi ISO inside and low ISO outside/daylight. That should help, it's not always easy to wrap your head around this "exposure index" method, I know it took me a while to do so. Hope this helps!
🔥🔥🔥
I watched one contact mic video and now youtube is convinced I'm a sound engineer. It's been a fun change of pace since I have never had any interest in this topic at all, but now of course I want to buy a contact mic and wander around banging on things in public
I use my Korg to mix into matching stereo recordings to give a nice bottom end.
The metal drainpipe you walked by at 8:13 would have produced some interesting metal sounds and echo. Shame you missed it.
Isn't 'Pink' Focus wheel? Also I cannot power two motors via standard USB 5V and had to buy a DTap to USB C cable.. Good Luck!
I would suggest shooting in log. You can load a LUT on to the camera and if you don’t want to bother with slapping it on and post, the camera can burn the LUT to the file. If you don’t have a LUT workflow, I would suggest buying the Phantom LUTs because they are excellent.
Interesting. I've never tried that before. Thank you for the feedback.
First 🎉
is the power source usb pd? Different cable maybe Could be the daisy chain need to swapped to different ports. I rented this last week. Not easy to setup
