Just wanted to reach out to you guys and catch all you up on things for 2024!
Can’t wait to see you guys win the championship at the IRONMAN!! LETS GO BRANDON!
@@LMActionsports ohhhh it’s going to be something special!! This is what most racers dream to achieve and Brandon is on the edge of it 🏁
@@prorow784 I am saying a prayer for you guys. You worked so hard to get where your at, this is my 2nd gncc I went to this season since 2008. But I been watching religiously since chuck delullo raced at blackwater 100 in the early 90’s. I have seen some great riders grow and get better each year. It is Brandon’s time, he has matured as a rider and is smart and is blazing fast. I will definitely be rooting for you guys. Woooohooo!!
@@LMActionsports Man I appreciate that🏁
Lets Go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! waaaaaaHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 🤟🤟 get that championship 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟

y u do dis lol jk beat me to it
@@FranklinBrosRacing I’m a big 784 fan! 🤙
You guys stay safe down there. Looks like it’s headed right for ya.
@@scottroach7255 Thanks buddy.. yeah looks like it’s going directly above our place. We are directly in the middle of of the state east, west, north and south 🏆
Can you Tell aprox height front and back please. Just arround what to set it desent need to be exact mesures 😉
Another great race, makes it really hard with that thick dust! Would you mind posting your new camera setting that allow you to record an entire race, I still haven’t figured out how to catch my entire race. Thank you!
Everyone rode smart for the most part but getting a hole shot was key on that track, would have been perfect if it rained days before. Congrats and thanks for the pics.
Brandon e-biked the track on Friday morning and his one take away was (Holeshot). As it turned out that was key!! It started to sprinkle on Friday afternoon and we all looked at each other like, man this would be nice. Only to get disappointed 🏁
Love the footage, thanks for sharing! Great race in tough conditions.
Thanks buddy!! It’s a lot of work but I freaking love watching the videos when they are all done. These are memories for Brandon to share with his kids someday 🏁
I have a issue with my xmr1000 where the front wheels spin in neutral and the rear wheels are locked up and wont spin. I dont want to start tearing into the transmission or if its just a issue with the rear diff. Has anyone ran into this issue or had a similar issue?
It would be awesome if you uploaded the full race footage and the edited version, i enjoy having the full races play in the background because its very relaxing. Thanks :)
Awesome video! Glad ya guys got it patched up and running again. You guys seem like good people and always helpful. Brandon’s speed is incredible. Is Brandon still running Derisi revalves? Do you guys run spines or balls in the tires? It seems like some of the guys in the 4x4 run a tad lass air pressure in the rear vs the front helps them steer a tad better, any truth to that? Looking forward to seeing Brandon race next round 👍. Watching Brandon cut through the woods and in the field sections is crazy smooth, does he run a split brake setup? I see BNR just released a kit.
im glad yall was able to patch it up and still land the podium
Amazing how fast you top guys go, looks like a lot of people had problems. Credit to you and team to get it back together and still podium.
Thanks buddy!! Yeah it was a crazy race of people having issues. 🏁
That's awesome you were able to change a tie rod and keep going for a podium!
For sure!!!! Some days we just have luck on our side🏁
Team and fan effort to survive and still podiumed! Kick ass effort!
Yeah man!! I am still exhausted from running 😂
Shit happens, you'll get it done the last 3 rounds.
So ready I promise 🏁
What happens is when trees are on the apex of a turn, elevated? What occurs is the dirt is slowly eroding away, it exposes the trunk under the burn. Camp Coker is famous for that. You end up destroying wheels etc on something you can't even tell is there, and wasn't there on previous laps.
So true Keith… it was a weird day for 4x4 racing. I seen your video, so you had a power steering issue?
I think weighing them after a mud race is a great idea. I'd also like to see the same with a YFZ450R if possible
Great idea on the Yfz450r, maybe I will do that! Thanks buddy 🏁
@prorow784 I tried lifting my YFZ450R after The General this year and it was a struggle. So that had me curious on the difference. We all know how bad that race was 🤣
Weather same here in the carolinas Chuck. My 66 year old butt is only outside early mornings and late evenings. AC the rest of the day unril this weather turns to fall!
Hey Chuck nice C-10! Is it a '72? Where is the southern roots race?
Hey Bryan, the southern roots race was in North Georgia. I have a video I just need to get after the editing lol🏁
The truck is a 1971. I have been busy so have not started the motor swap yet.
Sad that ATV frames require gussets to hold up and not crack. It wouldn't take much more from the factory for the frame to be race ready from the factory.
Definitely agree…. Boy that would save us tons of time and effort if they would get with some of us to see what we are doing. It would require just a little more work on their part. 🏁
Hey Chuck just catching up on your last 4 videos , wasn't getting notifications for some reason. Bell was on. Did you build a new race car or paint the black one red?
Is this PA or WV?
This is WV.
Tell brandon to come race with us in michigan we got sand!!! Check out moxc!!!
Show us where the gusset kit goes in.
@@MrSeththompson1 I will try and do a video on where the gussets are placed🏁
i love how youre showing that sweet ass classic chevy in the background . the burnt orange and silver with the chrome trim looks so good .
@@867diesel 😂
Good video, my guesses were 950 and 70. Almost 2 1/2 250r's. Tweak the spring preload for balance?
Thanks man! These things are definitely heavy 🏁
I was guessing 921.
You were pretty dang close!
Gas is like 6 pounds a gallon, so with the size of the tank protrusion there is probably a gallon. The drivetrain sitting to the side is probably more of the weight than anything.
After thinking, I agree.
I’m loving that c10 in the background!
@@mountainstatematt271 Thanks man, it’s totally badazzz. I am waiting on a few things for the newer engine for it. I can hardly wait💪
People underestimate how heavy these quads are. They aren’t easy to stop, side hill or power slide because of that weight. Another great video Chuck!🤙
Thanks buddy!!
Trees stop them😂
@@kylelawrence8147 Yes they do and usually catastrophic 😂
@@kylelawrence8147 I’m surprised you remember since it’s been so long since you raced😂

Great shop you have, hopefully soon you’ll be building a 2025.
@@thomaselectriccollc8590 Thanks man!! We have started building Brandon’s 2025 race quad. It’s not a 2025 but a brand new one.
Just finished a race up here in Indiana after doing new a arms that I welded gussets on and it felt so much better. You guys are awesome for the information you put out.
Heck yeah brother 💪 Thanks man 🏁
I don’t have social media but when or if you guys decide to sell that quad let me know and send me and email. Same name I’ve talked to you on your business email.

@@kyleayer5805 Will do. I will see if I can find it🏁
Enjoyed the update. We will be at the SRRT as well. Will Brandon be on the can am or 450?
That’s sounds great!!!! Brandon will be on our neon yellow quad that we are setting ride height on in this video. Can hardly wait🏁
All the new computers and drive by wire stuff is not great for racing applications. I did not see any Raptors broke down on the side of the track.
@@OHVLife All true…. We are having to become technicians for these can ams. Our problem turned out to be a faulty fuel pump causing the fuse to continue to blow. 🏁
@@prorow784 You guys are living the dream so I guess I few hiccups here and there are worth the trouble.
Hey Chuck, I enjoy watching your videos as much as Brandon's. Your a great rider and you don't give yourself enough credit. But your humbleness is nice to hear. I just moved back to Florida a few years ago and have been riding my whole life. I just bought a 2023 Renegade 1000r xxc. I'm struggling with places to ride like this. Do people ever visit your location. I would love to pick your brain some time. Cheers man
@@benoconnor8030 Hey buddy…. Congratulations on getting the renegade, you are in for a blast I promise!!! This video I was obviously at a race in Dade city at the Florida trail riders race. Will you be doing some of the FTR races coming up this season? If so we could get together and I can try and answer any questions you may have. 🏁
Just wondering if you split the brake system so that the front and rear are separated?
@@Greylock24 Yes we do separate the front from the back. This is just a preference between riders. Brandon likes it better separated 🏁 Thanks buddy 💪
@@prorow784do they make a kit to separate them? I also see Brandon runs the Jayparts Hand brake levers which I’m assuming is a game changer because the factory lever takes Incredible Hulk to pull them in to lock the brakes up. Pertaining to this video it looks like you can gusset your own A-arms and maybe start with 21+ an arms and continue the guesset they started from the factory? Hope that question makes sense.
They don’t per say make a kit for the brake stuff. Derisi racing in North Carolina usually has the items needed. It’s real simple. Yeah the brake master cylinders is a game changer for sure. They apply a lot of pressure with little pull. Yes a little expensive but worth it! On the gusset, I don’t extend the factory one I speak about in this video but I weld in 2 additional ones per arm in the bends on the A-arm where they bend on the back rail. They bend easily in this section by barely touching anything. Maybe I can get you a pic. Hope this helps, thanks man 🏁
I was also wondering about a kit! Do you have any issues breaking or bending anything else after reinforcing the upper a-arms? It looks like can-am put the bends in there as a safety measure. My son has bent up quite a few but I have resisted putting the gussets because I’m worried about wrecking something else considerably more expensive!
@@prorow784 ok good deal thanks. Just so I’m understanding the brake setup Brandon runs….left front brake lever is back brakes only? Front right brake lever is front brakes only? Foot brake pedal is all 4? Or is foot pedal switched to just rear brakes only?
Do you happen to know of any companies making a set of nerf bars for these quads? I just broke my leg at an IXCR race 3 weeks ago and am trying to find options to help prevent that from happening again.
I actually don’t…. I know Jordan Phillips was running some kind of hybrid nerf bar setup of some kind but don’t know the brand. That sucks about your leg buddy 🙏
@prorow784 okay. I'll look into what he runs. I may end up building a set of my own or making adapters for a pre built set from another quad. If they work well enough I may start making a bunch of them to sell.
@@jacobclingaman8601 Heck yeah buddy 🏁
yes post the video of the 71 chevy restoration . trucks are needed to get us to the trails . im restoring my 86 chevy k20 big block at the moment . i cant wait to load my 250r into the bed of it and crank up the cold ac after the first ride 😁😁
Heck yeah…. I need a pic of that at some point.. I often think about loading a renegade in the back of mine, it’s a long bed also🏁
@@prorow784 lol the renegade in the bed would be a site to see
@@867diesel I think I am going to do it😎
@@prorow784 hell yeah
Glad to see can am listening to R&D and improving their products unlike other brands.
Yes, BRP is a great company and racing is a big part of it. I just wished they would still provide support for gncc guys🏁
@@prorow784 I know, right! Its crazy they don't!
Did y’all get the overheating stuff figured out?
Goodness I hope so… we have not raced since snowshoe. Brandon is planning on doing the southern roots race in Georgia the weekend before gncc starts back. 🏁
@@prorow784Hey Chuck I was wondering what helps with the high temps, two of us went into limp mode at the last few races. The radiator was covered which is the main reason but wondering if you used any special coolants or air deflection. Unfortunately I’m out for the rest of the season because I melted my valve cover, coolant manifolds, cam chain tensioners and guides due to setting my limp mode at a higher temp. Was hoping to get the new gen 3 renegade but now looks like it will be a 26 model. Any plans to build a 2025 G3 outlander? Thanks Mark
Where have yall been lol
@@GearHardoffRoad Honestly been busy with business stuff lol. We are back after it. I did this video about 2 weeks ago but just took the time to edit it🏁.

Great story. What kind of lift do you guys have your quads sitting on when you worn on them?
What kind of lifts are the quads sitting on?
What did you spray you engine with?
its funny how the fans favorite track is the racers most hated 🤣🤣. Lets Go Brandon !!!!!!! FJB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What fluid are you running in the front diff? Factory recommended 75W90?
Hey Chuck good to see yall back on . Dang that one cost him a win and some points. Have yall looked at trying or testing with the XMR radiator setup?
Hey Bryan…. I think of you from time to time. We are looking at several things and getting ready to test a few. Not sure where we will end up but assure you we are going to fix it! 🏁
Great video Chuck. Mechanicals are so frustrating. That woods section looks narly! Looks like a NYOA track.😂 Brandon was absolutely flying!!!
I know those CanAms have a lot of computer BS to keep it running smoothly. I didn’t know if there is a way to bypass Lymp mode? Don’t know if you run an oversized radiator and fan in that monster. We have a Glann Innovations oversized fan kit on my nephews race quad and wow does it keep the temps stable. But great riding this weekend and I’ll be rooting for your Brandon and hoping he gets the championship this year. He’s on a roll and damn is he fast. I got to watch him win at the Mason Dixon my first GNCC since 2008 at Unadilla. But yeah, it was nice seeing him snagging the lead at the top of the mountain off to start and get a win. Enjoy the summer break. I know you guys will still be racing keeping in shape. If you guys do any races up here in PA in the AWRCS series give me a holler so it make sure to stop by and wish you guys luck
Thanks LMAction…. Yeah the computer stuff we are constantly chasing. We really don’t want to to bypass the temp in the computer but do raise the limits of it allowing the quad to run a lot hotter than normal. This thing got up to 292 degrees which is on the side of melting down lol.. we are definitely looking into fans, radiators and such to correct this problem. This one hurt, Brandon was disappointed as it potentially cost him a win. We will get it figured out I promise. Was thinking of potentially doing the Kenda 9 hour for a tune up.. I will keep you updated. Thanks for the support for us🏁
Somthing about the 1000s seem to have more issues-than the 850
Not sure… combination of several things we think.
Seems like the newer quads with more electrical sensors and features have more problems than the older renegades. Mines a 18 and beside wear items, never have a problem with it.
@@RWF_Racing Yes all true. The front plastic is a little different and more open on the sides of the radiator also. You would have to think we have figured it out by now lol..
