my 2024 17R came with friction hinges too. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere but is a must upgrade that's already done.

I like that lay out only thing is i would like to have that bench seat near the stove cut in half for more room which would make it a 3 person dinet but its just me and my girlfriend but thats perfect

Good Day I am 6ft 7inches. Would this work for me? I noticed on some RV's the shower heights are lacking

I’ve been in this unit and I would buy it if that little “mid-bunk” area was 3’ wider. That space is basically useless.

I liked the 2024 model better with the bed turned, felt more open. But so glad to see they brought back propane heat, wasn’t a fan of the fireplace. Also agree with comments about needing more counterspace, maybe add a drop down countertop beside the cooktop?

Probably the best plan out there, but.... The quality control is awful!!!! Doors and walls are out of square. Very shoddy construction....

What does inverter prepped mean? Is it easy to connect an inverter? Do you have instructions

Nice but there is not enough counter space by the sink area and there is no sink in the restroom.

If I bought a 2024 Coleman 17 R or B .. I’d be pissed lol.. 2025 is a complete different unit so much better. Not a fan of instant hot water tank, rather have a dual source heat hot water tank .. but it’s doable. Nice unit though.

I would have loved this if it still had the east west bed. Big no buy for me. I dont want to crawl on and off the foot of a bed all the time. So disappointed.

Yeah glad i waited to buy, this is much better than 2024. Finally a proper water unit and furnace!

If you can afford it, hold out and buy the 2025 model. It was listing at $15996.00, but Camping World will work with you. Items that changed for us was pretty simple. The size, is great along with it now comes with a gas fired furnace heater along with on demand water heater. The kitchen storage cabinets open out instead of up. Took ours home yesterday.

I have a Coleman 17b and the AC is definitely marginal. On a hot day it’s just not enough. Thinking of upgrading

I'm hoping someone can answer my question. I noticed in the Lantern 17R & 17B that under the mattresses is particle board. Particle board is known to release high levels of formaldehyde, a known carcinogen. In 2015 a few companies started making a formaldehyde free particle board. Does anyone know which particle board is used in the Dutchmen/Coleman campers?
