Showed some friends some new area . 131 k ride around the mountain , Blue Lake , back cabin up Hunters Range, Cooks Creek lookout . Had a little sun, rain, wind . Still a great ride with friends

Kayaking this part of the Shuswap river takes about 1hour 30 min this time of the year. Spring melting the river starts to rise and is fast.

Snow Wheeling in the North Okanagan Outdoors. Polaris XP with 32" , Turbo with 35" ,and Pro R with 37" Tires. Snow getting a little soft down below , but little higher up around 6500' was a little better riding.

Checking out the snow at Hidden lake , 7 of us out with our rides ripping it up. some of us are running 35's for tires, down to 30" I my self run 32's with stock clutch.

A great day up to Mustang Powder Lodge and Pettipiece pass. Seen a big grizzly bear on the top of powerline before the lake, and had to clear 3 or 4 trees off the trail. Picked a bunch of Huckleberries and took in awesome scenery.

Great video! Safe to assume those trails you used are narrower, rougher than going up via Bolean Lake Rd? I just want to head up and do some fishing, but will have a small trailer with a tinner on it behind my 4x4.

That moose is looking at this idiot challenging him like, "Are you kidding, you weird, ugly, hairless thing? You want me to fight you? You know I'll break you, right?" That look of confusion borders on incredulity. Did these fools think they were far enough away to be safe? Moose can run about 35mph, almost SILENTLY through the forest. On a clear road, while being challenged? I betcha he could have sprinted to these guys at an even higher speed. Do not CHALLENGE wild animals, especially breeding season! There are easier, less traumatizing ways to end things. At least they didn't do it while trying to pet the thing or something. Darwin Awards material, either way.
This person is stupid...
Used repeat animal and bird sounds to them, and sometimes they would respond back or even come closer. I was talking to my stepmom on her upper deck, while standing next to her hummingbird feeder. They made pipping noises to one another. I had fun joining in, and some of them came very close to pip back, and to check me out. I'm sure they were very puzzled by me. I kept still so that I wouldn't scare them away from the feeder, and so I could play the sound game longer. I was one of those kids who would poke around ponds to catch frogs and lizards, take a good look at them, then let them go, and yes girls are sometimes that into nature. Unfortunately, that was a very long time ago, and I'm in my mid sixties now, with 2 bad knees and a bunch of other health problems, so I rarely go out anymore. I have to make do with nature videos now.😞

What a funny sound, I expected more of a bellow.
I was following a cow and young bull calf in a willow trail pre dawn once 40 yrs ago. Made a bull grunt to see if the bull calf would turn so I could see if he was legal to shoot. A monster grunted from 20 ft behind me. I was so shook I missed a barn door at 20 ft he dwarfed me. Got him with the 3rd shot he was more than a hundred yards away already and going full speed the only reason I got him was cause I collapsed on the ground from running and got lucky enough to have a deadfall to rest my gun on. He was my first moose ever. Sketchy NEVER GRUNT IN A BULL MOOSE IN DENSE BUSH YOU CANNOT SEE INTO.

Just love this video. I live in the city but have fun tormenting the crows with their clicking language sounds. One followed me down the street. One day, I turned and saw a neighbor right behind me - she thought I was crazy. My Dad was so good with animal sounds that he called in a toad with cricket sounds.
