Making commentary about your thought process during the fight was so helpful and different from other charge blade guides. I'm new to MonHun but I really want to give CB a try and this made me understand the mindset way more

For anyone learning longsword, a VERY important tidbit about the special sheathe is that it can be preformed directly following a spirit roundslash. You know that slow animation to put away your sword after you level up? Instead of letting that animation play and lose dps, immediately go into special sheathe into Iai / Iai Spirit Slash. Special sheathe can also be preformed immediately following a helmbreaker, completely skipping the endlag and allowing you to quickly get back to slashing away. Very useful!

Listen to this guy advice. DO NOT USE GUARDIAN Set Armor/Weapons. Also don't SOS too often, you'll rush end game and end up with Fatalis Armor Set just MR 50 and playing like an idiot with god armor.

I had to argue with people for years, guardian armor and defender weapons shouldnt be used by new players. I used them on 2nd, 3rd playthrough onward. But Ive also played MH since 2004. good guide :) I rarely cover food with my newer friends.

One little quirk of the charge blade: contrary to other shield weapons, guarding with it spends sharpness, since the shield moonlights as the axe blade
