You did a very good in depth reverse engineering job I’m a old ham guy that has gone rouge LOL yes the eBay ones stay away from. We have a Camel RF from a guy in California that imported the Warner style transmitters puts better parts in that are known to give problems and tests for hours on a dummy load before shipping them out we have the 150 watt rack unit been running it for close to 10 years with no problems and is clean FM audio and does not drift ! The site has disappeared that we got it from was about $1200.00 back then . Do a spot on antennas we have about the last dominator from Norwalk electronics before they went out of business . It’s. .94 wave .

Hello, back in the 80,when the socialist f. Miterrand free the fm band we used MRF 317 for 100w amp. We couple two 100w with *ceramic microstrip couplers " too i was young but i remember these transistor produce sound during tuning the amp.

ATC100B ceramic capacitance, the use rd15 because heave to much used ones in bages :)

The reason that you're able to make that transmitter smaller than this, is it is not designed to test it to the levels that the FCC requires for commercial am transmitter. It may meet the specifications on your test bench. But is the components inside design and such a way that they can be operated 24 hours a day 7 days a week, with varying loading, and very incapacitants as the ground system drifts in relationship to your vertical. Also what kind of actual components do you have as far as when you're talking about 16 kilowatts Peak power how long will it do that much power pink. Most transmitters I've seen that someone is waiting to that high a pep level, will not truly operate at that level very long. Maybe an instantaneous peak. But it's not going to take an average peak. I've used one of these exact transmitters. And yes it will put out a kilowatt of carrier. And it will produce 2.5 times that add up to about $3,000 Watts peak. But only for instantaneous Peaks what it truly generate what you're claiming that it will

Good information. On medium wave and broadcast stuff, a little oversimplifying but you never know your audience. I think I have got a please hire someone to do a voiceover for you. Unless you equalize your voice seriously. It is painful to listen to on a handheld device. With my phone connected to my Bluetooth your voice came piercing through my speakers I'm sure it works great for am. But now I suggest please equal out some of that mid-range😮

I have bought an ELE EL-15s in 7 W version and can verify that the near spectrum is very good! BUT can also tell you that second harmonic suppression is extremely bad! At full power at 88 MHz it is 22 dB down, at 1W -14 dB and at 0.3W (lowest power) it is only -9 dB. Second harmonic is thus fairly constant around 15-16 dBm (30-40 mW) regardless of output power, which is at least 50 db worse than permitted in the EU and cannot be used without an external LP filter. Another disappointment is the very strange AGC function on the AF input which cannot be switched off.

One flaw I have discovered with many of these transmitters is the audio is very muddy due to the Pre-Emphasis being set incorrectly.

Thats very good it has pre emphasis for fm snd filtering so you dont need a 19inch rack this will do
