MICHIGAN FALL SALMON FISHING (2021)
This has become an annual fishing trip for us and we have grown to love and enjoy it. Three years ago, we took a chance and made our way to northern Michigan, completely unaware of what we were getting ourselves into. Our first day was filled with many disappointments, but that did not discourage us. The following day, we arrived and conquered. So, here we are three years later; with time, practice, and a lot of patience we are definitely getting the hang of it. Hope you guys enjoy!
Thanks for watching; we appreciate all of your support!

How to Catch Coho on Lake Superior
Переглядів 5383 роки тому
Fishing on Lake Superior out of Grand Island Harbor Bay in Munising, Mi. First time fishing in the UP! Two words to sum up the trip: Holy Wah! We were fishing shallow water from 45-100FOW running spoons on lead core and dipseys. We were fortunate to catch 2 cold water cohos and our first splake. Hope you enjoy the video, tight lines!
Bobber Down Winter Steelhead
Переглядів 3383 роки тому
What an awesome trip we had fishing for winter steelhead! Thanks to our friend Captain Leland for making our trip a memory we'll never forget. We learned so much about fishing for steelhead using slip bobbers from Captain Leland. He is very knowledgeable and an all around great guy. We highly recommend using his service if you're looking to fish for steelhead or kings on the Manistee River. We ...
Fall Lake Trout Fishing

We were able to get back on the water. This was our first time out with the boat since the summer, so it was nice to be out on such a beautiful day. The best days for us to go are 0 waves. :) Better safe than sorry. We fished out of Port Sanilac, Michigan in 25-40 FOW. We reeled in our fish on lead core, letting out 3-4 colors. We started midday and caught us some nice lakers. We also forgot ou...
Manistee River for Rainbow and Brown Trout
Переглядів 3,6 тис.4 роки тому
We love fishing for rainbow and brown trout in Northern Michigan on the Manistee River in one of our favorite spots. They may be small, but they sure put up a fight and very tasty! Any time we are here, we limit out. This video is a compilation of 3 days of fishing from June 2020. We are using our jigging rods, with a sinker, and night crawler as bait. Sometimes we switch it up with a bead trou...
King Salmon Betsie River Fishing
Переглядів 13 тис.4 роки тому
The salmon run is finally here on the Betsie River! We came up for the Labor Day weekend with family and decided to extend our trip another week since the fishing was slow hoping to catch ourselves a king salmon. Good thing we did, because we were able to hook a few dozen salmon during our trip and brought some home. We are fairly new to river salmon fishing. This is our second year fishing for...
Coho on the River-Northern Michigan
Переглядів 2,4 тис.4 роки тому
We headed up to northern Michigan for the Labor Day weekend and ended up staying the following week as well. We came for the salmon fishing, but it was running slow at the time, so we tried our luck else where and we were fortunate enough to catch a few COHO on the river. You could see them coming up and down the river in small and large pods. It was a rush and quite addicting catching one of t...

June 4, 2020 we went out on Lake Huron launching out from Lexington, MI. This was our 3rd time out and 3's a charm! We brought along our brother to get in on the action. We caught our first fish around 6:30am and it was a beautiful COHO, using 3 colors of lead core and out in 60ft of water. We had 2 lead core lines on the outside with planer boards. The other 2 rods with #1 Dipsy Diver and plan...
Lake Huron/Port Sanilac Lake Trout Trolling

After our first time catching a laker, we couldn't help ourselves but to get back out there once the weather was cleared. This was our second time trolling on Lake Huron, June 1, 2020. We decided to launch out of Port Sanilac and put our skills to the test. It was another beautiful day as we launched out around noon. We are still learning and perfecting our techniques on trolling. This time aro...
Trolling Lake Huron

This was our first time ever out with the boat on Lake Huron. Also our first time trolling. We launched out of Lexington on this gorgeous and calm morning on May 27, 2020. We were able to hook onto one lake trout first time trolling. Lost a couple equipment, so we had to call it a day, but overall it was a great day for our first time. We will definitely try this out again soon. If you have any...

    Good thing it’s a small sized one. Better than taking a big sized one that is not worth eating. Not snagged either! Leave these spawner alone. Come on.

    This isn’t real fishing this is flossing it’s like snagging. The salmon usually swim with there mouth open so when you have that “bead” with a weight that keeps going to in one place they swim right into it. Good fishing but I recommend skein to really catch them proper

    Way to name the river in the video. People like you are ruining the fishery, contrasts on your UA-cam fame though! “It’s In the mouth” famous words of dentists.

    • @nomad196james
      @nomad196james 4 роки тому

      The Betsie isn’t a mystery. There’s a ton of rivers and creeks with salmon that flow into Lake Michigan. The ones who leave a mess and don’t follow DNR laws/regulations are the ones ruining the fishery. Not a UA-cam video.

    • @kylesmith5004
      @kylesmith5004 4 роки тому

      Savage Randy the UA-cam video draws in that crowd that leaves trash behind and doesn’t obey the laws and regs. If you didn’t name drop rivers then they wouldn’t be there to leave their trash.
