So many wonderful times and beautiful locations. We could not resist the urge to relive it all, so I've thrown together a couple of quick vids of our travels. Hope you enjoy this glimpse back through 2023. Cheers Andrew & Lisa

      Hi Dianne, You're the second person to say that. I was starting to think I was losing my marbles, however, In the West MacDonnell vid, right at the end, I mention that next up was going to be Trephina Gorge and I showed 4 or 5 teaser photos, so I think that is what you have seen. There certainly hasn't been a full vid on this spot or even a big segment in another vid, not from us anyway. Thanks for dropping us a line and keeping us on our toes 👣 Cheers Andrew & Lisa

      Hi Jilly13bean12. I know I'm not as sharp as I used to be, but I'm pretty sure I've never put together a Trephina Gorge vid before this one, and only finished it last night so it's hot off the press. I did hint it was to be next up at the end of the West MacDonnell vid, so maybe you're confusing it with that one. Cheers Andrew

    • @TerraRoundOz
      @TerraRoundOz 9 місяців тому

      Hi Richard, I take it you are referring to the attachments on the deck of the board, they seem quite strong, I've not noticed any deformation in the deck at all when using the seat. You don't really put a huge amount of weight on the backrest. It is really just giving your back some extra support. The setup works a treat👍 Cheers Andrew &Lisa

      @TerraRoundOz 9 місяців тому

      Hi Desmond, wow sounds like an amazing trip, you sure are covering a lot of ground and all the top spots. In August the flys should not be too bad, but I would definitely get a fly head net just in case, you can get them on line or any camping shop ( in Australia anyway). Regarding the walking poles, yes, definitely take one, they make the hikes so much easier. Good sturdy hiking shoes and quality socks are a must, you will live in them. The centre of Australia does get very cold at night but warms up after 8am, a good puffer jacket is great, light and easy to scrunch up and pack away. A light wide brim hat is a good take as well. It is very different country to what you are use to, dry and dusty but beautiful in its own way. Have a fantastic time. Cheers Andrew & Lisa

      Thanks so much Graeme! 😊 Yes I have been a little slack since leaving Tassie, but I thought everyone would be well over my vids for a while. I will get busy and put something together shortly. Thanks so much for the support, it is greatly appreciated, and we are so glad you have enjoyed the vids. Cheers Andrew & Lisa

    2 years, I do not think that's acceptable. I have the same blinds in my caravan and they are rubbish. Fishing line used to keep tension to blind and bugs enter from the sides of the flysceen/blind. Looking at replacing them with different brand.

      Hi John, agree 100%, these blinds are not the greatest, especially when you head off road and start playing in the dust. If you find a good substitute please let us know I'd be very interested. Cheers Andrew

    Sorry guys but got sick of the very very cold bit all the time as if you were in northern British Columbia at -30 or something.

      Sorry grassy, but we call it as we feel it, It was freezing for us, we come from a moderate climate. I think mornings at negative 5 sneek into the cold category in anyone's book.🥶

      Hi Philip, you must have a sixth sense, I just sat down to start to put together another one. Sadley we are almost at the end of our travels, we are heading home in mid October and will probably have a year at home before we decide what to do next. I still want to get to Victoria and southern NSW so perhaps that will be on the cards in the summer of 23/24. Cheers Andrew and Lisa
