This the black label 100 proofs and BS rye are must grabs at the right price.

This is only the 2nd positive review I’ve seen on this Bourbon. At a total wine by me it’s $190 before tax. I couldn’t pull the trigger on it. I think pricing and the finish is what made others not like it. Plus the reputation that Old Grand Dad is a budget friendly Bourbon. Buyers didn’t want to spend $200.

Thanks for the review. I generally like Knob Creek and think they are generally good value. Since it's around $48 near me, I'm going to steer clear since it sounds kinda disappointing.

Totally agree with your review. I also got mine for $35. Probably would not buy again. Like you I’d rather buy a store pic or even the single barrel.

I think it is an easy pour and not bad for the $45 I paid. Would not rebuy. 🥃

If it was better blended I’d try it but I believe you’re onto something here with they are taking barrels that are making it and are blending them. I’m a rye guy but for the price this is a pass for me. If it was 35 I’d probably get one but not for 50. 🥃🥃🥃

Found it for the same price as the Reg, $30. Well worth it for the Proof alone.

Never had anything "MR," and probably never will. I'm always suspect of those TW Direct Spirits brands. If you are happy with the product, that's fantastic. I've started moving away from finished whiskies. Also, congratulations on 4K subscribers!

Ask for a sample before buying. They are becoming more hit and miss.

Most of my rebuys are 100 proof to save money. One is 90 proof, the Bernheim Original Wheat Whiskey aged 7 years for $32. It might be more for summer with less heat than another rebuy, the 100 proof Early Times that is $28 for a liter bottle. My other 2 rebuys are 100 proof Old Grand-Dad and 100 proof Coopers' Craft. All of my rebuys are made in Clermont or Louisville, Kentucky. For a bigger budget try the J Mattingly and Glenn's Creek bourbons made in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Its full 16 yrs, 14 in white oak, 2 in sherry. I did NOT like this personally, but its way too much oak for me. Im also not a dickel fan, but i didnt know it was dickel when i tried it. Worth 100 yes. My thing? Not at all.

Artificial scarcity and overpricing nope no thanks. Never have liked much from jim beam either. Ill hold out for some old forester single barrels or elijah craig private barrels for sub 80

Whoa. Or is it whoah? Anyway, you know I'm not a Whiskey Tuber content guy (yet), but if I was, I'd have not one, but two Peerless releases on my 2024 disappointing whiskey list. On top of one for 2023. I've learned slowly, but I've learned. I know Peerless has some big fans, but I'm not one of them.
