Shouldnt startup your saw on run position while throttle is closed... It works but not good to throttle device I guess... Start when it's half choke position with throttle is opened... If you pull throttle trigger it opens... when released it closes...
Can it be replaced with an 18" chain length?
4:00 C 6-2
This gave me way better information than my user manual did. Thanks so much!
Thanks very much!
The thing sucks Doesn't start The string runs out quick Waste of money
You deserve an Emmy or an Oscar. Great stuff... Thank you.
Didn’t mention the spring for newbies that can be lost 😮
desde Chile un saludo. Entendí perfectamente las instrucciones con mi inglés basico. Así de bien explicado está.
Thank you for this video. It was not exactly a plug and play tool and this saved me additional frustration. I miss my old Black and Decker.
Success with the one you feed through. Thanks
Im over here struggle bus Spool 1 and there's a better Spool 2!?!? Self loading. Omg.
Exactly right. Good video. Love my 170.
Thanks man.
Nice, simple video.
He says ‘easy’ - nothing about it is easy! Nothing about STIHL is easy. Hell, Ryobi has a better bump feed than STIHL! Now I own a chainsaw and weedeater STIHL. Neither are user friendly - starting to believe there’s some ‘overrating’ going on here
also. mine started, (before the chord broke) but wouldn't stay running...added fresh fuel i had..40:1...just got the Stihl used ...should that cause the issue?...should i change to 50:1 ratio?..thx for any insight
The ratio is dependent on the oil you use. Stihls mix oil is 50:1. But older oils used to be 40:1 as long as you're following the right ratio from the oil, then you will be good!
can u do a vid for repairing a broken pull chord?...if it's an easy fix...thx
Best video I've seen on starting the bear!!!!!
This timer is about to smashed against a wall
Thanks man help me out
God bless you! I cannot thank you enough! You don’t know how much stress you have taken off this old heart of mine
Thanks for the clear explanation on the proper procedural way of starting a machine that could potentially take your hand or foot right off. Stay safe out there people.
Great demo thank you.
Very well done! I am surprised at how many small details experts leave out of the discussion. You covered it all brilliantly!
Thank you, this was so helpful
Best and easiest video to follow to install string into Stihl F5 59C head. Thank you so much!!
well done on the directions! Clear concise and no bullshit, kid should prob. run for president😊
Thank you, great video, and it works
I didn't see any harness hooks on my Fs38 👀
Fs38 .95 cord or what ✌️
Perfect! Thanks, started right up 👍🏼
Worst spool head ever It feeds without touching it . Two different lines makes it really difficult to spool it evenly . I would take the trimmer back if I could because of this spool system .
I have a fs38 just got it yesterday. I need a video for how to put the string on.
The top unscrews.
Pull it until you give up and grab the trusty old saw 🤣
Best explanation of all I’ve seen, thankyou!!
Start it on the ground
...just the explanation a woman needs----thank-you so much....Judy
Wish I had a little holder thingy on mine so I could use my other hands too
Thank you!
Great video thanks!
here they have 10 per cent ethanol added to petrol. used strimmer twice third time wouldn’t start. cleaned spark plugs still no luck. brought it back to shop. they found water in the engine with corrosion and piston and ring stuck
Excellent, thanks
😊😊
Great instructions for my particular, Weedwhacker, thank you for posting
bought one 3 days ago used twice won't start now
Sesrch for fs38 clogged spark arrester repair and make sure your fuel to oil mixture is correct.
Perfect, thanks :)
Things are garbage used once last year pulled it out this year new gas and it won’t run for the life of me
Maybe is the operator
This was the most thorough video to start this model. Thank you!
I really appreciate that man cuz I've been having difficulties. You know this is a new new still weed eater to me and I never used it before and your explanation was right on par. Now I know how to string on my fs38 weed eater up and I appreciate that man. Thank you. Hopefully whoever needs to see this will see it and you can you know get promoted or something man or get a raise cuz that was awesome and that was simple. Fast, quick, easy to understand. I love you two videos
