If you’re looking to spice things up a bit, have you ever thought about trying an extreme yoga challenge? 🧘♀ It can be a fun way to mix in some flexibility and balance training with your strength workouts. Plus, it really complements the lower body work we did in the video. Just imagine how strong and flexible you'll feel afterward!
I actually have considered doing something along the lines of yoga/flexibility! I teach both dance and yoga, so I've been gathering lesson plans that I felt would translate to YT well and saving them for future videos. It might come sooner rather than later! Thank you for expressing interest!

congrats on finishing winter arc!! I don't comment a lot but I've been watching you since last fall, originally because I wanted to know what ISU was like since I was going to be transferring from community college soon. I kept watching your videos long after I transferred though because I loved your vibe and found you very inspiring. I'll be honest, I've never been a super physically active person, I've been wanting to change that, but I've never had any idea of where to start and always found the process very daunting, especially due to gym anxiety (and group class anxiety). But watching you has really changed that for me. As I said before, I didn't start watching you for fitness tips, it just so happened that fitness was a huge part of your life, and seeing that really helped demystify fitness for me, so much so that I finally went out and got some proper gym clothes last week. I'm planning to start doing some small, simple exercises in my apartment next semester until I get comfortable enough to tackle the gym or a fitness class, and it's all thanks to you! I love your attitude around fitness and your emphasis on personal wins and finding what movement brings joy. I especially loved when you reaffirmed yourself in your week 9 vlog when talking about your lifting goals and knowing that other people can lift more, and just the way you focused on being proud of what you accomplished, it really makes both starting out in fitness and long-term fitness seem a lot less overwhelming :) Keep up the great work!!

When u do the hammer curl you should pause at the top before pressing you are skipping the contraction part of the exercise, not a big fan of exercises that combine two movements key parts of each individual exercise get missed, I would recommend do both just individually and focus on the tempo control big stretch, big contraction and control the negative
@@avenlukacs9772 I totally agree with parts of this, but programming also depends on an individuals specific goals in the gym. As a fitness instructor, I am in class situations where combining two movements makes sense for the goals of that particular class (ex. HIIT or a strength based barre), so in my personal training, I train my muscular endurance to be able to do the combination movement. If I was training during a time where I am focusing more on strength, then yes I typically do the movements separately and focus on the contractions. Thank you for your comment!
