Big opportunity for Olaofe, Diamond, Bailey etc to fill that role. Hopefully one of them will step up. Villa have European games, they may be looking for backup. No point sending him to someone else's bench, might keep him on there's.

As a family we will never forget his amazing goal, first game of the season. Luckily we were there also when Barry was welcomed back to the club by Steve. Wonderful player. I feel for him. He genuinely seems happy at Stockport County. I agree his next move may be to a side who aren’t as positive mood wise. Feels very rushed by Villa. Definitely up to something. Also his record scoring in league one will stop now. He deserved to finish the year with top goal scorer official at the end of the season. Surely that would’ve added extra for Villa on paper if they’re to sell him on. Let’s give Barry the best send off we can at EP on New Year’s Day.

Villa fan here. I've been following Barry's development at County and feel sorry that he hasn't been able to see the season through. I really can't see him fitting in at the Villa while Duran and Watkins are playing well. I think he will be sol to help meet financial fair play, too?? BEAT THE 'Blue- Noses'........

Birmingham fan here . When he played against us he did look good and this is what happens when you loan a player . I bet they loan him straight back out . West Brom or Norwich will have him ….

If they want to move him on why not let him have 4 months in the championship to prove his worth he is not proving anything in league 1

Fist and foremost - Was it or was it not stated that it was supposed to be a loan for the season? If it was then will County receive compensation for breach of contract? Secondly, if Villa have decided that they want him for themselves then i get that, but if the idea is to loan him out yet again then that would be stupidity. A full season at County would be sensational for County, Villa and most of all Louie. He is on track to become the leagues top scorer and that in itself would increase his value and have many teams lining up for a successful scoring machine. A move to yet another loan will not achieve that and more than likely hinder it. Whatever happens, thank you Louie and wish you every success. Merry Christmas all 😢

I think County will opt for a loan player or two. No point rushing into spending money when summer will offer more chances to pick up another Lewis Bate.

Why you should never fall in love with a loan player.

He will come back one day, he loves County. Tanto should now get in the team and be given a good run. His goal was clinical on Sat. No messing he knew where to hit it. Lets hope we get another defender in Jan aswell or two. DC would have known he was going back this hasn't happened overnight. Good luck to the lad he's been fantastic for County.

Blunder Ben Hinchliffe at it again ffs, he's a liability the defence started to panic. Bailey was very good at breaking up the play early in the first half. They have spent over 2 mil on players, expected them to get get better as the game went on. I am hoping County sign Tyler Onyango if we can afford him, he looked really good before getting injured. Tanto must start next game.

You should come up top with the riff raff, you will love it. Tanto should start ahead of wooton, he is absolutley terrible, doesnt affect the game what so ever. Tanto is strong and dangerous. Ben had a nightmare but im sorry we actually have an issue with both keepers, addai cant get down low for shots hes like a tree being knocked down. Considerng your the stats guy and the channel we all watch I would love to know the goals per minute for Tanto and Wooton for this season? I can gurantee without working it out that tanto has more goals per minute than wooton which says all we need to know, wooton has give us loads for the club but this is league 1 and I dont think he has what it takes to impact the game.

In previous seasons under Challinor County have been relentless with the high press, now County seem to ease off after taking the lead and start playing sideways-backwards-sideways that leads to unforced errors too often. Why the change in philosophy? My theory is after all the injuries last season the coaching staff have reckoned the high press over 90 mins was a major factor and therfore County are trying to play the high press in fits and starts over 90 minutes. Regarding Hinchliffe and kicking mistakes he is being asked to do what isn't his natural game - it's like trying to reinvent the wheel. Hinchliffe stays in goal for me, the best all round goalkeeper just stop asking him to be a Eddison tribute act Putting Addai back in would be asking for trouble- when it comes to communication with the defence, commanding the box, collecting crosses and actually making saves Addai is poor- especially low shots into bottom corners- he goes down in instalments

That 2nd half vs Stevenage was abysmal. I'm sure the lads will take the field on Sat. with very sore ears. County to cruise to victory.

I certainly hope Addai ISN'T back in- IMO his technique is fundamentally flawed - goes down to low shots in the corners in instalments and his command of the box in the air is absolutely terrible. What's Ben Hinchclife done wrong since he was recalled 4 goals conceded in 6 games since his recall into the side is a decent return. At 27 it's not as if he's in the promising youngster bracket and if the rumored 350k transfer fee was paid to sign him it was a expensive blunder IMO

From a Stevenage fans point of view this season we’ve been poor since Evans left but recently been better . Anyways the referees always seem to be okay or bad it’s always hard to ref in a division like this and I think the referee made some good and some bad decisions from both sides views
