Adding This to PvZ GW3 Caused a TON of DESTRUCTION
In this dev log I added abilities and the “goblin zombie” to GW3. I forgot to mention this in the video but I also gave Guac Croc legs and fixed various bugs. This dev log has less editing than normal since I wanted to get an update video out as soon as possible in preparation of the demo.

where can I play this
For the playable zombies, we could have a robot zombie like those robot soldiers in certain plant missions in pvz gw2, and base his variants on different types of robots from pop culture, video games and movies and cartoons alike.
Also some of his abilities would change depending on the variant kinda like the different z-mechs have different abilities.
Also also, what about a scout zombie like from tf2, or a ninja zombie.
I don’t see why they’d come after you, it’s a fan game. There’s plenty of PvZ fan games that haven’t been taken down.
Idk if this would work but you could slowly and slowly give everything more detail

And also you could make "support characters" who don't do damage but help other players. Example:aloe he won't do damage but heals players
You Should really make a Zoybean Pod character! The Abilities could be the following: The M1 Could be Shooting vines out the ground, or Holding a Sling pea that fires Peas like a shotgun at an enemy. Its ability could be rather quick, being able to spawn a zombie of your choosing, the Quick cooldown one being able to spawn browncoats And Newspaper zombies While the Slower ability could spawn Coneheads, Bucketheads, and Maybe a Screendoor zombie with a rare chance. As for its Legendary Variant ability, the second ability could spawn a gargantuar, but not as strong as an actual gargantuar, i'd say like 1.5x - 2x the HP Of the buckethead or Screendoor zombie that you spawned with the Default variant of the ability
guacodile but he spoiled. Also maybe you should shrink the hud a little, I estimate that it currently takes up like 1/6 of the screen, good work though cool project
and maybe you could try to add more varients for the characters added in gw2 as they have less, like for example an imp that does toxic damage
yo this is FIRE oh, also I think the goblin zombie should be like a zombie in a goblin costume. and a new plant should be coconut cannon it would have 225 health and 10 ammo but each shot takes up 2 and would move slower than most characters. and the shots would deal a lot of damage maybe 25 for a direct shot and 15 for splash like peashooter! but the cursor should be larger. and here should be its abilities: 1) it would be slowed down like hovergoat and its ammo would change to 3 and the coconuts deal more damage and have more splash. 2) it would gain a small speed boost, and the ammo would only take one, but the splash and damage would be reduced. 3 the middle one) it would slow down dramatically and have one ammo but the coconut it fires has a HUGE splash radius and deal a ton of damage. what do you think? this is just an idea, but I can come up with more. and I think you're doing well keep up the work! I can't wait how this will turn out!

I have an Idea for a zombie Class You Could Use. i have a ton more going on in my head but i'm just gonna keep it smooth with this one The Imp Bull Rider from PVZ2. I Know There's Already an Imp Class in GW2 But Hey it's just a idea i Sought out The Mechanics of The Bull Rider is This. He Would Always Be Mounted On His Bull When You Play as Him. His Primary Attack Would Be Just The Bull Thrashing Around One of The Abilities Would Have The Bull Charging Up and Rushes Foward Afterward The Second One Would is That The Bull Would Have a Rage Mode. The Bull's Eyes Turn Red And Does More Damage Than Normal The Last One is The Bull Launching The Bull Rider off And You Would Play The Imp Rider Himself. and The Bull Would Act on itself and attack enemies it's own and (You Can Also See The Bull's Icon of Where It is and how much health it has Excactly) When the Bull dies it lays down on the ground and waits for you to come to him and recover him I Don't Know what weapon the rider would use but perhaps he could use a Lever-action Shotgun like Cowboys have back in the Old West No ideas were hatched on what abilities the imp would have but One of them is Him Calling the bull back to Him (Only Works if The Bull's Alive) with a whistle and Getting back onto him "Variants" Maybe One of His Variants Could be The Rodeo Legend Zombie. He Could have variants where They Do Ice. Fire. Electric and Poison Damage And that's about it. Let me know what you think and what ideas do you have in mind that would fit differently
You could add a zombie called the Gatling gunner and he has a big Gatling gun his 1st ability could be bullet rain he shoots upwards then the bullets fall down doing 20 damage each shot 2nd ability is called bullet Missle he shoots a Missile doing 200 damage 3rd ability fire bullet he gets 100 bullets they each do 5 damage and when they hit a plant it catches on fire
I have an idea for a varient type. It would be the shadow varients. Not like shadow flower, but like pvz2 shadow plants. It would work like a legendary meter. It would fill by dealing damage. Once it is full, the character would get a stat boost for a period of time. This mode would be worse than legendary modes to balance it out.
Please put Gargimp in the game as a playable character, enemy or a character you interact with hell even just an easter egg just something Gargimp! 😂

Dude, it is so unbelievably cool that you are doing this, I’ve always thought about trying to make a PvZ game like the shooters but I completely lack any kind of knowledge to be able to make a game. Thankyou for doing this, I can’t wait to see what you make. Also out of all the plants in the series I wouldn’t have ever considered to have Guacodile to be a class; seeing someone elses ideas on a project like this is so cool.

(If that’s the platform it will be on) I have a steamdeck and I’d love to try it on that if it could be made possible Not sure if Steam would accept this fangame as EA could most likely give a cease and desist or something bad along the lines of that (Let’s hope this doesn’t get the WCHB treatment… but then, EA seeing this fan project could make them think about the shooters, I just hope they don’t demand you shut this down and say something like “Play GW 2 or BFN as we don’t want to make a real GW 3…”
I’d say try doing interest checks/make posts on social platforms about this fan project to get people interested in spreading news/helping this project grow and to get people interested in helping with different roles they could take for it (character artists, 3D modelers, background/map design, concept artists, coding for updates and coding for patches)

The mimi quac attack should have deployment and homing similar to the seeker sub weapon from Splatoon 1 You hold down E and the quac tries to lock onto any target, to release it you let go of E. Hold down the button for too long and the mini guac will go foreword automatically wether locked on or not, and it will explode if it hits a wall/surface

Don't actually make this pvz, please... we need a game that won't get DMCA'd instantly. Make this game actually unique, make it cell shaded/cartoony since you don't have infinite money, time, or resources. Assemble 2 teams, start with 8 characters on each team. Give each unique abilities, change each character until it is at least B tier compared to the others. Have characters with different builds(stealth, tank, ect.). Team idea reccomendations: Hell vs. Heaven, and one that I think would work the best BY FAR; Ancient civilizations vs. modern day. Character ideas for ancient civilizations vs. modern: Modern: Soldier, special ops, sniper, ...pilot?, ect. Ancient: Those roman sheild people, wizard, king, caveman, pharoh, ect. You get the idea.

I think for the dash ability you could reference the thing Guacodile does when a zombie gets to close and make it push them a bit backwards and do low damage if you connect it completly Also maybe the little copies it makes could spawn 3 and go forwards in an arc while damaging and pushing people
It would be cool if the mini guacodiles could walk around, rush towards the zombies and tried to bite them, forcing the zombies to shot at them. Would make the guacodile kinda like a swarm type of character. You can use this idea if you want to ;)
