My name is Scott, welcome to my UA-cam channel. I love tinkering in the garage on various projects. This love of tinkering has led me to start restoring Tonka Toys. I have never done anything like this and there is a lot to learn. I have already bought several new tools and am learning different uses for tools I already own. Needless to say, I am learning a lot. 1970's Model 390 Mighty Dump Truck Restoration
I found this derelict 1970's model 390 mighty dump truck ready to be put in the trash. After a few weeks of work the truck is restored and is good as new. In Season 1's second video you can follow the restoration on a 1968-69 Tonka Wrecker. This was a straightforward rebuild, but I did struggle with the powder coating and nickel plating.
