“Ghar aya mera perdesi” was ditto copy of a very famous Egyptian song sung by Arab world’s nightingale Um e Kulsoom in 1943. Also another song of Bersaat “jiya beqarar hai” was a copy of Naushad’s film Rattan’s song “ Ankhiyan Mila ke Jiya berma ke” ,again in 1943.

Film was launched in 1968...Director B.K.Khana.Souce-IMDB. Though during 1968 SJ has changed orchestration...this song sounds very different than their music of late 60s..But so does their songs of Rivaaj(1972) Door nahi manzil(1973)

My view the song is not Shanker Jaikishan's stature . Their jalwa limited upto 1949 to1972 Sanyasi exceptional. I am Shanker Jaikishan I Shanker ji, Dattaram, sebastain and Sharda I am a fan of SJ know every think about their music.
