Dude you have NO idea! I am a lady slip seater for an infamous Mega company. I put in 3 hour a morning sometimes OFF THE CLOCK because I cannot run out my hours for actually working! I have used ENTIRE containers of clorox wipes and it still was dirty. I have cleaned urine, semen, shit, raw, rotting, meat juice from refrigerators because some person turned off the truck for two days and then let someone slip seat in it-from every single truck I have been in. It is not just gross, it is a bio hazzard. I have seen blood, dirt, rat poop, mice, flies and every other nasty thing you can think of. Join my pain. I have had six months of it. The mega companies profit from keeping their trucks moving. But the slip seater is their lowest slave. That steering wheel was NOTHING.

Yeah it’s usually 4-5 months out the year I’m from Alaska an I’m black ironic huh I know, but it’s designed to drive on ice during the coldest months of the year ice is usually 6-8 feet thick,, but the downfall is it’s usually not every year for this type of position due to some years being warmer then previous years when it’s to warm that year they shut the whole route down it has to be a certain constant temperature all year round for IRT to be legal

It can be overwhelming to start. But coming from road construction field it's cake walk as far as being physically demanding. However the company I drive for has us better drivers work days when the gas stations are busy and more cars on the road and in our way at gas stations.

Trust and believe these food service truck drivers are FOS. Like everything time catches up with you. Do that if you want to running up and down stairs carrying a ton of food into some of the crappiest basements. In the east coast is nothing but raggedy shitty restaurants to drag all this downstairs. Torn meniscus, knee replacement, back pain yeah retirement is full of pain and pill popping. Never mind you usually you’re dead within five years or less of retirement! Good luck 🍀 with that. Dont even have enough experance to speak on it. 42 years in the Indurstry. 24 years in LTL, 34 TO 43 HR Znever worked the dock off weekends. 7 paid holidays, 4 weeks paid vacation 6 figuer income. Get some time in young fell uou cant talk about what you havent lived.
