Just a random guy who likes cars and sleeping 👍...
New videos every weekend...if I can hehe 😊
New videos every weekend...if I can hehe 😊
Setting my priorities straight.
This is just a random video I made to pass the time during my break 😂
Let's face it, making videos is hard sometimes, especially if you still have your usual school or work business to deal with, and that can be daunting when the way to grow on social media is to consistently post something...
That includes me, a guy trying to maintain his grades while trying to return to UA-cam as well 👍

It still is the easiest camera to use due to its Tri Nav Dial System ( exposure settings like aperture, shutter speed, and ISO) Unless you are one of those people who feels they need to change their modes all the time which is a pain on this camera as you need to go into the menu.
I learned to drive a manual transmission in a 1978 Peugeot 504. Peugeot is very rare in the US. I’ve always wanted one. But, I can’t afford one.
Swedish Jaguar xj or British VOLVO 164? 1968 first production both, jag and Volvo, so which came first? egg or chicken??? Sure nothing with Mercedes... ZILCH. Absolutely nothing. Maybe, should take a look at granny. wols....
We owned both a 164 and 164E, the latter had fuel injection.
164E-74 war mein erstes Auto. Erinnern Sie sich noch an den B30, ein nahezu endloses Drehmoment. Er wurde von Volvo Penta geliefert, es handelt sich also im Grunde um einen Bootsmotor.
Answer: yes
Plat B Jakarta 👍👍
Thankyou so much for your fantastic, informative presetatiion. Truly an elegant car 164e and mine did have the larger, fantastic Safety Bumpers that was used on all models following. I wonder if they had been added, but I very much doubt it, as the car was completley original. I had one the same colour would you believe and the same colour interior. I always say to everybody, it had the most instant heat from its heater. Truly it did. I loved it so much and couldnt stop admiring it. I would drive the Family mad when I parked it outside a cafe, so I could look at it whilst having my meal. I would say to the family, just look at how beautiful that car is. The front was superb. They would get sick of me saying it. It was a superb car. Fantastic views of the Body you have videoed as well. Cheers, John (Australia)
Very cool, the 164 -73 is in my opinion the best looking of the whole series. Dad of a friend of mine had one from new, ice blue metallic/ black interior - a very nice car in period.
The most comfortable seat during that era is renault 18, peugeot number 2..
In 1996 my parents got a 1969 bordeaux red 164 automatic which they had imported from Munfors, Sweden. The same year we went on holiday near the area the car came from, but on the way in Hamburg we got stuck in heavy traffic and my dad rammed the gearbox in Park while still rolling which resulted in a big clang noise, nothing more, at least at first glance. During our stay the starter desided to kill itself, so we ordered a new one from Germany and it became my first repair job at 12 years of age, yaay. On the way back and already very close to home my dad wanted to be home asap so he floored it for over an hour on the Autobahn, doing the quoted top speed of 180 kph easily, but then the gearbox failed quite dramatically leaving a long trail of oil behind. The broken park-part destroyed the gearbox inside, all the gears were toast. The car was then towed and a specialist converted it to a 4 speed manual. After a few years my parents sold it and it was then fully restored to mint condition. Years later we came across it in a town near us and we made some good conversation with the new owner, remeniscing an so on. That car left a big mark on me, in beauty and elegance, I'll never forget it. Btw, since last month there's a new old Swede on my parents' driveway: a grey 940 Estate 2.0 Turbo with only half a million kms on the clock. After I fixed all the neglected maintenance it drives like a dream, again. Happy days, again!
OMG, Doug De Muro has procreated...
Doug Demuro from wish 🤣
Very nice video. I purchased a 1974 164E in November 1975 for $3700. It was the car driven by the mother of the dealership’s owner, and had been driven less than 4000 miles. The Volvo advertisement at that time was: A civilized car in an uncivilized world. Referring to the harsh weather condition.
3 litre? In the UK it was a 2.7 l, clearly based on the 1,800 cc motor.
Great car and a very well-done review! I appreciate your efforts and think you can go far!
Nice video but anyone who is truly into cars would want to see it being driven and hear the engine running at the very least.
A great review! My 300GD was made in 1984. Looks the same.... but slower
Great overview ❤
Volvo and Mercedes had the Safest cars long before any other manufacturers chose to make them so or were legislatured to make so.😉
Soo nice car
It’s just wonderful
That Volvo comes from Holland 🙂
I had a big bumper 164TE in the 70s - lovely car with a surprising turn of speed. Ice cold A/C and a ferocious heater. superblu comfortable leather seats, a strict 4 seater.
The first years this model had a lower shaped bumper in the middle, in front! Not just an ordinary bumper.
Thank you for a vídeo about a magnificent dar, the 505. Here in Europe the 504 and the 505 were Famous, excellent vehicles. Acctually, in my extended Family there were 404s, 504s, and the 505s. Long lasting cars, highly comfy and safe, delievering great gas mileage. Assisted by a wide network of Dealerships, affording unexpensive post-warranty service, the Peugeot line kept the cars running in good shape until the cows came home. As they say in Vermont (USA). In the US, without a comprehensive Dealer-network, the brand was unable to provide a proper assistance. Same situation applied to the Famous, Advanced Citroen DS 21.Durable and highly sophisticated vehicles, years ahead of the competition. the Brand also lacked a network. And above all, the corner gas station, used to deal with Ramblers and Chevrolets, lacked the capacity and even the tools to service such advanced vehicles. The futuristic suspension, enabling the vehicle to run just on three wheels, in case of a flat tire, was far beyond the skills of a common mechanic. Thank you once again for your videos.
Gorgeous car. Expensive looking, and yet a low-profile vehicle. For people who didn't like to show-off. Good taste, great design -- too bad that the brand has lost its forner charme.
Great video of 164👍🇸🇪
In 1975 my neighbour took me to school in 164, thing that stood out then was flashing fasten seat belt light, when no one wore swat belts.
Nice video , pity about the bullshit pop ups that ruin it !
what lens?
That's the camera that got me shooting Sony when it came out. I would just laugh at how easy it was to carry around as I had a Nikon D300 previously. Sadly I do regret getting rid of this because I'd still use it.
its not luxury in normal countries like mine and even in a poor country like north korea until now operated as city taxi fleet
Wing mirrors were swapped out for door mirrors. Protruding door handles changed to recessed. Column change automatic gear changed swapped for tunnel mounted. The driver door side location of the handbrake, I believe, was moved to the tunnel too.
A superb car. I've been looking for one but they are very difficult to find in good condition. Spare parts availability is not very good either.
bruh clean your lens, just kidding its awsome but keep it until intro only(good part should be short and sweet)
I think I got a little too excited with the glow effect 😂, it is my first time discovering it, thanks for the input 🙏
Thanks to the UA-cam algorythm i got here, and im glad I stayed. Been dealing with this dilemma a lot recently as well.
I know man and it really keeps me up at night sometimes 😭, but as long as you can enjoy what you're doing 👍, thanks for the comment
@@keepinitezzy Exactly man, all about that balance. For me working out at the gym makes me feel a lot better!
good video, just letting you know that at the 1 minute mark your audio only comes through the right head phone. Just in case you don't know how to change that If you don't have the option for audio channel section that'll let you chose the primary ear then make sure to change the track to a mono.
Thank you 🙏, after rewatching the video with earphones on I just realized it, didn't know that issue existed in the first place, my apologies😅, thanks a lot for the input
Great Video man~~ Good Luck in the future :)
Thanks so much man, you too 🙏
Hello, thanks for this review. Would you rather have a Helix Ultralight or a Brompton T-Line? Why? Stay awesome.
Hello there, man it's been quite a while since I tried those two bikes to be honest 😅, and I've personally never used the Brompton T-Line. But I would favour the Helix when it comes to comfort and handling compared to the Brompton, which I believe the larger wheels and disc brakes do help with that. That and also since the Helix is slightly cheaper. Although the Brompton does have more flexibility when it comes to accessories and practicality, especially with that front bag holder.
@@keepinitezzy Thank you for thinking about the comparison and sharing with me your thoughts. Yeah, I'm on the fence about both of these bikes. Hmmm...
Absolutely loved your video
Very happy you enjoyed it 🙏 thanks for the comment!
had one '83 505 grd and one '86 505 gtd the gtd automatic crap transmission the grd manual slow but good allways the gtd fast but didn't last, transmission
I like the second photo
thank youu 🙏
Why you wearing a mask alone?
to be fair I kind of spit a lot when I speak for a prolonged period of time 😂 Also to keep my present identity a bit more concealed🥷 And to hide my extremely absurd facial expressions when I laugh 😭
Meanwhile, I'm contemplating getting an FX30. I really need to stop getting myself broke. LOL
Absolute dream camera right there, but my wallet says no 😂 To be fair at least you get to contemplate on an FX30 while I dream on a ZV-E10 😅
@@keepinitezzy save up for it! The ZV-E10 was my main video camera before, but I have since bought the a6700. LOL. We'll get to achieve our dream cameras someday, let's believe it!
Definitely 💪
Nice vid, I’m currently shooting on the A7RIV and I’m going on vacation in 2 weeks and I was considering upgrading to the A7CR. After watching this I think I may just take what I have and practice some more
Thank you so much for the comment 🙏, and man I would really love a Sony A7RIV myself
This presentation is reminiscent ofof Richard Hammond in his early days. Very good.
What an honour to be associated with legend in the automotive world 🙏 , thank you
