I'm proud to present the final video for The Rehearsal season 1.
So this video took much longer to make than expected. My power was taken out due to a hurricane, i had multiple run ins with copyright flags (I think i had to render the video and reupload it at least 20 times, and I just was focusing on other personal stuff.
I hope you enjoy the video! Please comment and subscribe.

Final Fantasy (NES) Analysis: A Shaky Start
Ty!
nice review. it is already 5 years old, wow. i finnished "valkyria chronicles remastered" today. it is very tricky sometimes. the story depressed me a little. it is one of those "all is well that ends well" stories ... i dont understood why welkins friend had to die though. anyways, i started watching the anime. maybe i buy the sequel.
I would definitely recommend playing Valkyria Chronicles 4 (Complete Edition) if you liked VC1. VC4 is basically a really refined VC1 with more features. As far as playing VC2 and VC3 are concerned, they're PSP games only so emulation is likely going to be your best bet -- therein VC2 has a native English language option but VC3 is Japanese-only, relying on a fan patch to translate the game mostly to English. So, if you do plan on playing VC3 in particular this is worth bearing in mind.
Well said. You've helped me to see Nathan's "I'm your dad" as him finally experiencing being a father. I only watched the series once and it blew my mind as I thought the whole show was an elaborate way for Nathan to confess to Liam that he is his actual father 😂
I love the horror movie analogy lmao this was such a great thoughtful video! Thank you so much, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on The Curse if you choose to cover it!
Amazing video I can't even describe it. It just feels good to watch I guess lol
Amazing video, you earnt yourself your 200th subscriber :)
I just watched it. That was one of the most interesting things I’ve ever seen. It definitely gave me a weird anxiety at times but overall pretty brilliant.
31:19 Apart from the unrefined, frustrating gamplay, overly saccharrine main characters and fumbled story, this is why I quit playing the game and finished by watching walkthroughs. F*** you SEGA, you had to waste good potential raping character's personality's just for a freaking anti-nuke Aesop at the expense of way better morals. Hell Faldio bumped himself off with Prince Bling-bling dick himself all because of a little gaslighting from his own friend. 😭And worst of all, killed off the most beautiful waifu I've ever seen in a dieselpunk setting. 👿This means WAR SEGA!! A war so brutal you'll wish it was the console war again!
😲13:52 Zeta Gundam suspense music number! 17:25 Cowboy Bebop reference withh Windwaker minigame "SPLOOOSH!"
Its unfair to say angela is ant simetic
This fake ads are despicable
great
Good stuff man.. hope you do more reviews when season 2 drops
You just won a suscriber, really enjoyed your opinions and perspectives on this show
Aw thanks. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Nice the background with evangelion music
Glad to see this in my suggested and join as a follower!
Incredible breakdown 🙏
Thank you! Appreciate you watching the video.
@skoky_rats Sorry I accident illy deleted your comment. If you see this, yeah I just feel like Eva music pairs well with this series.
I am really eager to see where Nathan takes the show next. What do you think will happen? I wonder if Nathan will continue to participate or if the focus will shift back to "clients"? The finale was deeply unsettling at times and I felt a bit overwhelmed and confused by all of the layers and twists and turns. Towards the end I felt mentally and emotionally exhausted, to be honest. I'm not sure if I am ready for another season of Nathan working through his own issues. Great conclusion to an amazing series of videos! Proud of you for finishing in spite of all of the challenges. Thank you to everyone who has supported, as well. <3
I've actually heard that he's been working on a OJ Simpson Biopic... idk what that would even be like. It was draining wasn't it, like watching news footage of accident or something.
Where's the finale video?
Thank you for your eager anticipation, It was supposed to be out 2 months ago. When you watch the end of the video final you will see why it took so long to release. Also I keep running into copyright issues.
Dgg
I just watched The Rehearsal and wow, what an interesting show!! Thank you for these thoughtful analysis videos.
Was that cruel angels thesis playing in the background
Nathan raises my blood pressure, because he lives so close to the edge, and gives me actual balls to do and say the truth in calm words. Love this bland fellow!
I don't know how some of these comedians do it. Such ice cold performances while still coming off as genuinely hilarious.
This video feels like it should have 1,000,000 views! Solid content and personality 🏆👏
Your framing in this essay is great, especially how you predicted the way this show plays with serialization and breaking the fourth wall. The show does an interesting magic trick within its first few episodes. For the first 1-2 episodes, it reads as a soft reboot of Nathan for You with a fresher premise. But the further it goes on, I suspect it's Finding Frances that was actually the backdoor pilot for this show.
Thanks for the thoughtful comment. Yeah, it really does feel intentional like its meant to blind side the viewer who expects a very different format.
I once has a dream that I was hanging out with Nathan Fielder and that we ended up having this really emotional moment with him and we were both on the verge of tears because he was an alcoholic and wanted to kill himself because he found no meaning in life. I told him “What does have meaning, is this” and I gave him a hug to embrace him and made sure to give him a reason not to kill himself. Then, after that moment along with all the other moments I later forgot, all turned out to be staged, every move I did was pre written and pre done based on my behaviors both in speaking and in text messages of mine. It was so mind blowing to me how that would even be possible. It also hurt my feelings a bit that all of that emotion put in was all choreographed, every word I had said, including the hug, was all preordained, it was so bizarre and my mom and sister already knew about it and everything.
I heard some people saying that Angela might have been an actress also, which could be true and very much Nathan's kind of humor, but at the same time she seems like a person i have met in my life. Fake Angela does deserve an award for acting 100%. I just want HBO to do this show for 7 season and a movie!
There is so much of Everything that Nathan captures, its almost like a movie that you need to watch a couple of times to get all the themes and references in it. Fantastic show!
Great video!!👍👍👍
He is doing gods work on HBO, there is so much happening you have to watch it at least a couple times to see the references and all the complex ideas about reality/life
I keep coming back to your channel looking for episode 6, will it be coming out?
Sorry its taken a while. I'm working on writing it now.
@@nottle9779 don't be sorry, I was just hoping it was coming. I enjoy the analysis.
@@nottle9779 dont worry G I'll be waiting as well. love your analysis!
evangelion music was a nice touch
UA-cam’s algorithm is getting too good. It auto played this current video right after this video linked and the music was seamless ua-cam.com/video/Z_hXrc9OKyo/v-deo.html
The Dr. Fart skit, bothered me too. Reminded me of the weird old UA-cam videos that did disturbing stuff and marketed to kids. Like of course Nathan set that up to upset Angela. It falls right into Qult, Pizza-gate theories.
Please do a finale analysis! Great work 👍
Are you making a video on The finale
Yes! I've finally seen the final episode. Gonna take some time to mull things over and rethink all that happened.
I got tired of Angela way too quickly. No time for people like that.
Yeah, I feel like some of the editing of the show maybe didn't allow a full insight to her as a person. I have sympathy for her, but for me she is isn't very likable. Kor was my favorite Rehearsal client.
Eagerly waiting your Finale vid
Thank you!
My prediction is that the rehearsal season one will be revealed to all be a rehearsal for season 2 where every thing happens again with different people
I mean, it *is* anti-semitic (hereafter "antithetical/opposed to Judaism") to be Christian. There is a fundamental disconnect that exists. If you are a Christian you (should) believe that Jesus is literally the son of God. Jews deny that. You cannot support Judaism in its entirety and be a "good" Christian. In the same way, Judaism is anti-christian. You experience that in the way Miriam asks Angela why she's so hung up on Jesus. To her it doesn't matter that fundamentally to Christians he's the literal son of God because she won't even entertain it and that's "not a problem" because, again, it's not even entertained. I'm finding it hard to put into words, but there's some mention in the episode of "judeo-christian" values, and I'm not sure if Nathan('s show) is commenting on it or not but there is a real conversation that exists about whether that's an appropriate thing because even if Judaism and Christianity agree on a lot, it's the little things that they don't agree on that are vitally important (internally). It's "easy" as a bystander to just act like you can ignore these things but for people of faith, it's not. If you are a person who believes that Jesus was the literal son of God, it's not possible to just ignore someone or something that denies that, and vice versa. I'm not saying what the show is saying, but when people are shocked that Angela is "anti-semitic," I'm more surprised that more Christians aren't, in the best possible way I can say that. I think it's really interesting in the same way that Angela, the anti-semite, is expelled and put down, Miriam is speaking to the glowing-up and promotion, when it's in the in-group (and the specific in-group of Jews). That when a Christian excludes or demeans Jews or Judaism it's evil and rotten, but that Jews ought to be shown as a stark example above others, especially in the Middle East. I think that the show speaks a bit to that.
Both Angelas are fake lollll they're BOTH taking directions from Nathan.
I’d recommend watching Apocalypto, because while it isn’t exactly an accurate portrayal of Mesoamerica, your summary of it was off by miles
Yeah. Probably the thing I regret the most of this video is talking on a point I’m not really informed on. I was just going off Wikipedia information and google results for the movies themes.
Are you gonna do a video covering episode 6?
yes! I actually haven't watched it yet, and I have to take a little break because my slow editing consumed all my free time with the last few videos.,
Have you now? Defently the most complicated episode
The Fielder Method is my favorite episode. Nathan just can't feel how Thomas feels. 1. No matter what lengths we go to, we aren't to feel the exact emotions (or really perceived emotions) as another person. 2. Ok, that actor that played Nathan gave off a completely different vibe than Nathan and I think that was intentional and furthers the theme from the episode and show. And that ending and quote broke my brain and heart.
Simir- similr- simrlr- simerlerly… simirlrly… similar… sim i lar ly. Similarly Love this
If I had to describe the most poignant theme I read from the show is that you cannot account for every scenario. The various rehearsals result in failure, even the first rehearsal didn’t account for the simple scenario that Tricia would run out of stuff to talk about before the pizza cue. There isn’t a proven formula for how one should live their lives or navigate relationships, all we can do is try
Waiting on your thoughts on the last episode! keep up the good work!
Amazing commentary! Nick is not green did one and it sucked. But that shitty video brought me here
You really gotta watch Synecdoche, lots of parallels with that movie and the show
I completely agree. This is the closest thing we’ll have to a real life version of the never ending play Cayden puts on. This show is very Kaufman-esque but we’re also somehow players in his scheme
