Hey man .. thanks for the vid .. I has able to get in about 1.50 liters in before it started to over flow .. i know it calls for 2.50 liters in the manual .. the jeep was level, and just updated the gears to 4.56 .. any insight w diff in levels?

Couple things. That torque wrench is made to be held at the knurled handle end. Not in the middle of the wrench. Secondly that goo gone is an oil based solvent. Should be okay with your paper gasket. Definitely don't use goo gone with RTV.

I have a 2005 GMC Yukon XL 4x4 and offroad it weekly. My girlfriend gave me the news last night that she wants a jeep wrangler with 4x4. I am very excited now and cant wait to offroad as a couple. Anyone else have a gf like mine?

I've read at least one guy on the forums who said he ruined his inner seals by getting brake parts cleaner on them. Anyone else have that experience? I used brake parts cleaner on the ring and flange to clean up my rear cover install, but I think I'll just bag the front diff to keep old rtv out when I'm cleaning up the mating surface.

Nice video, looks a lot of fun, only negative is the shitty music, wish they would have just left it at the jeeps rolling over stone, rocks, water, sand, engine noises.

This is the kind of wheeling/exploring i'd like to do. Nothing too extreme where my Jeep could flip over, or need 37 inch tires. I know it's personal preference, but I like to explore and don't necessarily need to search for the highest wall of rock to climb over.
