I have recently received this model and it cuts the grass fine. My only negatives are the wheels don't auto center on the straight which makes smaller turns more arduous as you are constantly straightening the wheels. My old petrol ride-on had steering that auto centered. Maybe due to the weight of the front batteries?

aspen 2 fantastic product i will never use normal pump fuel again i use aspen in my stihl cut off saw and it as never ran so well the fuel is well worth the money .

Those rear wheels look too narrow and aggressive for that weighty mower.
I have the steel deck which weighs more and it's not a problem at all. If anything you just raise it up a notch. This mower does leave deeper lines in grass so I recommend it for trimming and the not so perfect yards. So you did bring up a valid point. Thanks Friend
