Your first test trying to isolate the pressure gauge only is prone to fail and "leak" - you need a larger volume for a decay test. Everything leaks, plastic hose leaks, every connection leaks it can be very small but still leaks.

I recently tried to change spark plugs on my cx9 2017. Couple of things i learned and want to share my experience with you. 1. You might be able to change 1st and 2nd plugs, but 3rd and 4th coil are the hardest part to put back. I tried for several hours and ended up cross threading the coil bolt. I would highly suggest please get it done by Mazda professionals. 2. The mechanic disconnected the hose in order to put the coil. 3. My car was at 98k kms and spark plugs looked pretty good. If I knew it i wouldnt have changed them cuz they look pretty good. 4. I would prefer Mazda OEM spark plugs over NGK. 5. Spark plugs are changed once in a while, i found it convenient to get it done by mazda professionals. Just few learnings. I have always changed spark plugs of my older cars but Mazda cx9 spark plugs are not easy to change.

This video is just nit picking. The tools work and have a great warranty. They tried to bring manufacturing back to the US which was nice. It didn't work out for them, but the sets they made are fine. I find some rusty sockets here and there from Taiwan, China, and even Germany produced tools. Just wipe off any loose rust and coat with oil or silicone as you would for any tool you accidentally leave outside over night. I bought both of the US sets and so far they haven't shown any signs of rust. Hopefully, they'll try again in the US, but maybe this time focus on some specialty tools that don't have as much of a saturated market as ratchets and sockets.

I've been designing a "plate" for the holes in the strut tower you mention around 11:07. As of right now the plate allows me to mount a MAP sensor, boost controller, Radium catchcan, and ChaseBays fuel filter. I did this to avoid drilling holes in my freshly painted engine bay. I'm sure I could modify it to fit anything you might want to put there. LMK if you're interested.

You can put a copper line through the hose and bend it to the shape you want, heat it to about 250-300F and keep it there for about 5 minutes then throw it in the freezer for an hour, pull the copper tube out and you're done. Only 90 degree bends are a pain as you will have a real fight to get the hose off the copper tube, for that I drill a few holes into a piece of sheet metal, enter some bolts through the holes and place the hose in between the bolts so it would stay in place as its being heated.

Steam starts at 212 degrees at sea level, but it can be much hotter under pressure. If your not looking for a reason to buy the nifty steam cleaner, you could just place the hose into pot of boiling water while it is restrained in the position you want. Leave it boil for a few minutes and then cut the heat and cold dip it or if you have time, leave it in the hot water until cooled to ambient temp.

Pulling through your manifold is going to slow your vacuum process down. I like to connect with vacuum hoses directly to the unit. Also that is a 2CFM pump, I think it did a damn good job. I would like to see a micron gauge directly hooked to the vacuum pump by itself and see if the pump can really achieve the 23 microns it's rated for. Also has a low oil capacity, so for clean new installs, it might work, but if your pulling on dirty line-sets and compressors, to me looks like a no go. Also no gas ballast. I looks like a great tool for automotive though and I am sure that is the intention for this unit. That's might though.
