Apparently she’s my dad’s grandfather’s niece, so that means we’re technically related. It’s really weird but kinda cool to know that someone in my family used to be an actress :D

When I was a child, I lplayed our record of Milton Cross narrating Peter and the Wolf so many times, it's a wonder the poor record survived. His voice was unique and his sense of humor was so sly and delicious. This little girl laughed every time she played the record. He educated my brother and I about the sounds of the varried instruments as the themes were played for Grandpapa, Ivan the cat, Sonia the duck, Sasha the bird, the mean ol' wolf, the hunters, and Peter himself. Cross is dearly remembered.
