Переглядів 19 тис.6 років тому
Changing cv axle (multiple videos) both driver and passenger side, hope this helps others. (Video 1, of 5)
Thanks for the video, appreciate it. Going to attempt to fix the guide plug leak on my bike tomorrow
Thank you !!! You guys helped to replace my blower motor. Very easy Saved me a lot of money!!!
Great video to show step by step. Great work! I'm about to attack this project myself. Also helps that both of you are really funny and work great together.
Thanks for sharing. I've seen the other video as well where the guy built up the tab with JB Weld. Fortunately I have not had any problems with mine, but I have replaced my stator before. Currently, I'm having a slow oil leak at the plug right above the right front spark plug and both brake light switches need replacing. I will try to repair the oil leak without having to remove the engine from frame. My bike has 25,000 miles and hopefully wont have too many more problems. Take care and again, thanks or sharing.
Awful video with very little explanation of what you did to get it out... Just a lot of banging and yanking
You two are life savers. Do you still have your Jeep commander?
No, unfortunately, it threw a rod. I am hoping that things look up for us, and we can resume making these videos on our other vehicles.
Great video, saved me a lot of money:))
Watched this vid while it was hot as hell in Florida
TY for the info, it was exactly the problem.
Great vid.Mine was making the same noise but now down to a tick.Huge mouse nest in glove compartment. Now I got something to go by and do it myself!! Thanks!!
I thought you were going to show us how to get the new trans fluid in? Also any part numbers for the cooler lines?
You would use a funnel and pour it into where the transmission fluid dipstick is located.
Seriously? You make a video on a repeat then don’t show us the fixed repair? How stupid was that?!?!?!
I’m confused? If it does not have a dip-stick; what was the thing he stuck in it to take the reading of 55? Please help???
Hope this helps me!!
you skipped the important part.
You skipped the most important part, how did you get the stuck axle out?
From what i have read on the forums the plug is left over from assembly and has no use
Can you tell me where the transmission speed sensor is a commander 2006 3.7
You should know when mice die in your car.or there is something wrong with your nose.
My blower went out; 20 degree day. Your video popped up. Looks simple, but dang it's cold out. Took it to mechanic. 20 minutes and out he comes holding dead mouse with pliers. I about peed myself! Just like in your video!! Total cost Zero dollars.
The blower motor needs some lube and a good cleaning. I'm happy the fan's run nin g at 3 speeds. Reister is good motor is turning
Thanks for the video! Made the job a whole lot easier considering there is no Haynes book available for make and model. And mine wasn't caused by a mouse lol. Bearings went out in motor and the resistor was also bad.
Odb2 can read temp
Super helpful. Had a mouse in mine and got him out! Works great.
Just found out about this issue myself. Check this guys videos out. It’s a guide plug (only used by factory). ua-cam.com/video/Ykhxm1uUWMs/v-deo.html
Saved me so much money and time. Thank you so much!
It's why we did it
How many quarts do I need for my transmission? It’s a 2005 Grand Cherokee 3.7
6.6 quarts
@@susanlee6893 also what was the torque sequence and specs ?
@@zackmc832 T30(torque) completely remove the back 2 and then slowly undo the middle 2 so the fluid will drain out the back and create less of a mess. Does that answer the question? Or were you meaning something else?
That's brutal...
Wow. What a waste of time. You show the cv axle not coming out. N then you show the next video of it already changed. Waste of time to make this video you didn't show us how to get the part out so it's a complete waste of my time thank you for wasting my time
Thank you .. exactly why I was here uggg
@@Count_Munch do u need help figuring it out. I found my own way of getting it out
The last bolt you were hammering on is when the video cut out. That’s the one I can’t get. How does it come out? Hammering or thread out?
Thank you guys sooooo much for this video! I have the same vehicle with the exact same thing going on. I am knowing what to expect since I live in the country and I have seen the spare passengers every now and then! Now I am ready for this 20 minutes of my life to happen to fix this issue and allow me to turn my air on past Lo and freeze the Jeep!! Thank You for this awesome video!!!
Where's the next video?
I just pulled mine apart and found one in mine looked just like that and made the same sound
How did he get it off because we are having the same problem. The cv axle won't come off at all and we have tried everything
Put the end of a pry bar against the joint at the differential and hit the other end of pry bar with a hammer. It will help having someone else holding as straight as possible, with a little bit of pressure pulling out.
@@susanlee6893 he has tried that and it's not budging at all
@@clemmonsclan it should of just popped right out
@@susanlee6893 it didn't and hasn't
@@clemmonsclan there is a part you can rent from a auto part store
Looks like you had a lot of time to take it apart that far
Very well explained. Also applyes on Grand Cherokee WK. Thanks.
Holey shit i found 5 stuck in mine no wonder it smelt like shit lol
thank you for making this video it helped me fix my Jeep Commander
Thank you so much for the eye opener. I’ve had this problem for long and was about to go get a mechanic figure it out (possibly replace something). I opened mine from the bottom panel and blower had a dead dried out mouse as well as a bunch of dry leaves in there. Emptied it and it’s working like a Cadillac. I didn’t even take out my glove box all through the process. Y’all saved me some bucks right there. THANK YOU 🙏🏾
I had a brown field mouse in mine. Also no need for anyone to remove the glove box. After removing the kick panel, one can access all necessary screws, and remove the blower without an issue. Did mine in a little over 5 minutes.
Thanks for letting me know
You guys are awesome
Thank you. Our followers and viewers are just as awesome.
ball joint press would of pushed the bushings right out .
Thanks for the video, I didn't know this transmission has no dip stick.
We have become so proficient in this procedure we can do it in about 20 minutes. Apparently Jeep Commanders eat mice for breakfast. One time there were 3 mice in the blower. I would love to figure out how they are getting in there and put in some sort of screening.
Agreed
Thank you so much I had the same problem. I watched your video on how to disassemble it and found a mouse.
Its a 13mm
Wonder what there driving now? ;)
Thanks so much guy! PEOLE NEVER NEVER MAKE Videos on jeep commanders🤙🏿
Had this problem for about 1 year, never put it on high because of this noise. Thank you. Found a lot of lint and debree
What engine...5.7?
It's a 3.7
