Hey there, stay up late, I wanted to talk to you about a lost pilot that I find interesting. It's for the show jimmy two shoes and what makes it interesting is that it was a bit more mature/adult then the final product. For example, the show was going to have (at least judging by some concept art) more blood and violence before Disney came on board and tone down the content.

I always thought the cartoon was much MUCH funnier and more entertaining than the strip ever was. I wonder if anyone's ever going to find the live action pilot they pitched to Fox. I just see a weaker, inferior version of The Drew Carey Show with a Dogbert puppet when I try and picture what it could have been like.

Unpopular Opinion: Coming from someone that has seen every of the boondocks , the original pilot is way better because it seem like it had a wholesome and soulful feeling to it. I also liked the little love scene between Huey and Jasmine in the pilot, considering that I always wanted them to make an episode about them falling in love in the official one.

There’s an update for the Backyardagains pilots. Wiki admins allegedly have copies of both pilots and have been keeping them from us. But nothing has been confirmed.

3:40 Could be wrong, but if the lost pilot is based on the episode Rumors (similar to that one pilot for Cyberchase that was found) I assume the tape you have is likely the second to last final product of the actual episode (think of it like the middle child) where most of it is finished when some is not (which is why the intro and outro is not there) and also explains why it looks closer to the final product

It's amazing how primitive the CG is and at the same time it still looks good. William Joyce has a rather timeless art and design style The BlueSky film Robots would take it even further with an insane level of detail.
