well, the machine is very interesting, of course, but it irritates my ears badly... I prefer my Yamaha and Korg synths.

With companies remaking the old classic synths like the Minimoog, ARP Odyssey and the Korg MS20, it would be great to see someone recreate the VCS3 but updated with a touch-button LED patchbay so it was programmable, and a delay instead of the spring reverb, it would sell like hot cakes!

Amazing! When will someone component model one of these into the digital world? I know you'll say it can never sound the same but advances in component modelling and faster CPUs are changing things. Have a listen to the U-He Repro-1 and Cytomic for component modelled pugs that sound pretty fucking analog. Would pay handsomely for a Devilfish VST.

It's like the theremin that didn't get the memo that it was supposed to be a theremin so it grew a bunch of buttons, dials and a lever-stick thingy and became this.
