Mk111 lineup for me is the best part of their history they changed everything and created something fresh that has remained with a lot of us to this day I personally like all three of the albums and each one is different and good in its own right and of course what came after from Hughes and Coverdale is also a high standard and both sides have kept this part of music history alive in their own outfits its just great stuff !!!❤

Sorry not sorry Bey but your french singing performance at the Oscars was a failure. It's just not understandable, not one single word she sang ! I'm french btw. Someone like a vocal teacher, during rehearsals, with a french language background should have told her the truth and make her rehearse more, not to make her sound perfect, like a french woman, accents can be cute & sexy even, but helping her making an understandable performance of that french song with her american accent would have been ok, pretty much like her buddy Lady Gaga sounds when she sings in french. She sounds better in spanish and it's coming from a french person ! And no disgusting Cuba, with all the respect I have for Beyoncé, pretty much like Madonna, she can't act. Her best friend Kelly, her, can act though and she needs to be in a Donna Summer biopic ! Her husband Jay-Z is ugly in the inside & the outside, I never got her attraction to him. She deserves better.

Yesterday is one of the most beauotful poignant songs ever written. The yearning in it is sublime and nothing else quite ever captured that level of earnest angst.

Roger was always destined to be a rock star. He has the drive and the vision that no one else in Pink Floyd had. Richard and Nick had great fortune to end up in Pink Floyd, little would be different as far as Pink Floyd music goes had they been different members. David Gilmour as good as he is on guitar may or may not have become a world famous guitarist. There are a LOT of brilliant guitarists out there who are not household names. His songwriting is far from the best and same for his singing, he would not have been known as a standout lead vocalist to make him famous just on that. And he certainly does not have a genius musical vision as Roger has to blast him into super stardom. I think Dave would have ended up being a successful musician in a lesser band fulfilling the same role as guitarist, co-lyricist, co-singer. We would still have Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Where Here, Animals, The Wall and Final Cut regardless of who Roger would have teamed up with. As a side, the exact same applies to The Doors and Jim Morrison.

There's no vocalist in the large rock universe,who does not like,appreciate,or love,Paul Rodgers,as vocalist and person.

What band !!!They a lot of class and groove,the songs were simple but magnetically rocky-blues-country,intense,elegant,the guys looked great,and Simon+Boz,matched so perfectly together,gettin' a rhythm section,not inferior to those of Purple,Zep,or Sabbath.

Boz was the first bassist in rock,to play the fretless Ampeg longhorn bass,keeping it,very in tune,that rarely can be noticed a little de-tune.

29:30 Micke Tretow wasn't a producer really, he was technician, and a friend. ABBA were their own producers (and also produced other artists).

The original RED album left a bit to be desired for the song choices. A few more early tracks & a couple more from REVOLVER would have been nice. Considering that it ran for only 66 minutes while the BLUE ran for nearly 100 minutes.
