in 1973 i was 9 & i couldn’t stand Truck On Tyke on older sisters’ Arcade 20 top hits or whatever the compilation was called but in 1977 i only heard Soul Of My Suit played twice on the radio but absolutely loved it. It was one of the very 1st songs i searched for when first using online music streaming. i love that song 😁👍❤️
very informative documentary with people who actually knew Marc so the opinionated portions expressed are genuinely informed. However I have my own prediction of what would have happened to Marc's career if he didn't driven so intoxicated and carelessly. Marc's music is timeless and will be repeatedly rediscovered and listened. I listened to just 2 songs so far for my Spotify playlist, The Slider and an electric version of Elemental Child from 010170, Marc is varied and fantastic and he'll be revived quite often, and his catalog is varied enough to inspire all kinds of rock bands to cover his songs doing their own versions. A grunge version of The Slider at Marc's tempo would be electrifying with those 4 chord choruses spaced so perfectly with all kinds of synthesizers. Marc did not crash and burn, he just didn't live long enough to see how popular he is. He did crash and he did record pop but he would not have crash and burned for very long. Miss you Marc, thanks for the great music for all kinds of listeners🎸🎶🎹🦋
My uncle saw Kiss opening for T rex in 1974 and loved the combo. Three days later, uncle arrived in Chicago to see the same gig and was told that T Rex left the tour because Kiss was stealing the crowds and Bolan couldn't take it.
Really enjoyed this thank you
Awe❤love T Rex more importantly you include his music!!!!

High heels, a bit of makeup, and some tinsel. It all seemed so glamorous at the time, to us kids.
Very good documentary, I learned a lot that I never knew about T.Rex. Well done, and thank you.
Well done 👍
