Fred and Anita Weagant started the business in 1953, as F.R. Weagant, General Merchant in South Mountain, Ontario. In 1953 Fred Weagant went to Smiths Falls to pick up a hay rake tongue and came home a Cockshutt dealer. Other dealerships were added: New Holland and David Brown tractors. A new 6600 square foot was built on Hwy 43, in 1976. Still selling New Holland products this store is now the corporate headquarters.
In 1993 Weagant Farm Supplies expanded into another style of business. Topline Trailer and Equipment Sales was created to offer a full line of horse, stock, cargo and landscape trailers to customers in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec . A new building was built for this business in 1999 on Hwy 31. A solid body of 44 employees excel in customer service. Many agricultural events are sponsored as well as a $40,000 donation to the Winchester Community Hospital.

Hello, I'm in the market for a drum mower similar size to this, how high off the ground do you have it adjusted to? My ground isn't perfectly flat and I do have some pebbles and small rocks in certain parts of my field that I definitely do not want in my baler. Is the adjuster actually numbered telling you how many inches you're off the ground or you go by feel? Our neighbor has his mower conditioner and rocks are shot flying every time he did our field (no longer will) so I'm just really wanting to know what a good and safe clearance off the ground I should aim for. Thanks for the demo!
Kubota offers three skid shoe options. You may want to go with the 80mm (tallest set to get the cutter bar up then play with the pitch to drop your cutting height. Our fields are a little rough but no threat of rocks so we generally run the 40mm skids. Good luck
Nice upload, Not my cup of tea with your mower though, windrow too wide meaning your driving on the cut crop, not good, that swath bar looks like it’s bunching up the crop as well, l have the Kuhn gdm 700 disc mower, it too had that swath bar, removed that straight away as it was causing problems, but at least my mower made a nice narrow window.
I don't run a tedder so i leave it out wide to spread things out nicely. You can easily narrow it up with a 30 second adjustment. The rake will take care of making a nice windrow later.
Amazing but what if there's a big Rock?
In an ideal situation you would have mowed this exact area before and know there is no rocks present.
As an owner of a Greenworks Crossover T (Which makes for a great general utility garden tractor), I have one big issues with Greenworks products. The lack of a service manual with parts breakdown and schematics.
How is it charged? Is there a connector like a tesla (and can leverage 30 amp, 240v), or do you remove the batteries and charge them in a separate unit like other greenworks products?
I don't work for greenworks, its just what I've seen. The charger is onboard, you plug the U500 into the wall. I suspect the 8.8kw battery is lead acid, meaning for the same space they could have put a 20-24kw battery. The higher discharge and charge rate of the li-ion battery allows a larger motor controller, and thus motor. Still....to take this machine into the woods with a Greenworks Pro 80V or Commercial 82V chainsaw would be a good time. I'd be very leary of trying to skid lumber back to camp with this unit though. Mount a winch in the bed so it lifts the log head. Probably make the unit sit on its arse, but could work. I dunno... daydreaming on youtube comments.
Trailer has to be overweight
hello and thank you for your comment. This trailer has electric brakes and therefore a GVWR of 3500 lbs. Less the weight of the trailer and factoring 15 percent weight through to the tongue the paid load is 2980 lbs. The tractor with loader weighs in at 2650 lbs. That is the beauty of these aluminum frame tilts. Ample payload capacity for non commercial users.
I doubt this particular trailer has electric brakes considering the size of the wire harness. It looks like a 4 prong wire harness. The trailer, most likely, is good for 2,990 pounds while the axle is rated at 3,500 pounds. It appears to be the 14 foot trailer version, so it probably weighs about 730 pounds, therefore making the load overweight.

We’ve had an 8028T for 7 years now. It is starting to wrap grass around the conditioner on the right side underneath the shield. The crops have been flattened by rain but this is common and it hasn’t been an issue for the last 5-6 years. Any thoughts on why it is doing this now?
Do you have a picture of the 20mm shoes ? Just wondered if they are bolt on are whats integrated in the cutterbar? I have the tallest shoes and have issues cutting rain damaged crops that are laid down.
