Those D45000 coach buses are tough, they don't rattle a lot and can get up speed quick and that motor is awesome and quiet

As a school bus driver, based on what we do in Rhode Island anyway, I can't help notice a few things you missed 1.check in the lug nuts 2. checking the emergency exit windows. 3. Failure to perform your two 5 mph pull-ups. 3. Did not do a two-way radio check, 4.

Man that bus is slower than the 2012 Thomas C2 you made a video on despite seemingly having the same rear axle gearing and HP rating. Needs more power. My districts DT’s get up and go because they have enough power for the job.

As a former school bus driver I guess I fail to see why everyone is getting wood over this. 🙄

I despise what they have done to these busses. The front of this thing looks like a squirrel and all the modern technology makes it feel like cheap Chinese garbage electronics which it probably is full of. When will society go back to emphasis on quality and not base a products value solely on appearance. Apparently these buses are plagued with issues already too. Not a surprise. 2nd gen CEs are my favorite even with their problems they had.

Does first student okan on replacing a big portion of the sencond gens or just a couple dozen to add to the fleet

That gear selector is primarily used for automated manual transmissions such as the International T14 automated manual transmissions, they staying stayed with the Allison push-button gear selector, did you know that International is own by the Volkswagen Group?

Got a couple of Freightliners with the 6.7 ISB in our fleet. The sounds that motor makes is music to my ears, so glad they are still putting that engine in the latest and greatest trucks.

These buses look good and even drive good but they are severely over engineered and a mechanic's nightmare 😅. I work on them M-F
