💩
That was the Transporter.
Why haven’t we gotten a movie with Jason Statham and Tom Cruise together. Jason Statham better Cameo in Mission Impossible one day.
W@®™✓
Poor Statham. Just 30sec in a movie
He's so cool that's all he needs
Stunning place for 007 ….. movie ❤
Always wanted to visit here ❤
I got the soundtrack for this after the film come out and I can't tell you how many times I listened to this opening track "Briefcase" by Tom Rothrock.
Thank you
Very nice scene, very nice music.
🥵
An English man telling an American man to enjoy LA ☺
@0:45 sete gibernau motogp in the newspaper
I wonder how many guys bought a pair of Silhouette sunglasses after seeing this movie!
Me too
@@thuggeruray1 haha a good question.
Opening shot and you already know the situation at hand.
Yup
I was hoping more of Statham 😢
Michael Mann does a good job of capturing the peripheral energy that surrounds L.A. with its everyday people of different backgrounds. Most movies about Southern California are filtered thru the eyes of fantasy and celebrity-driven culture.
The pacing also in this movie is pretty much unparalleled, especially with the use of soundtrack
yeah the soundtrack itself is very unique on it's own. sometimes it plays electronica to match the noir feel, so sometimes it plays punk rock or orchestra to make atmosphere. it's very diversified and randomized, something you don't see much in movies nowadays
Agreed with all comments
totally forgot Statham was in this movie. lol
Tom Cruise bumps into The Transporter by accident? Not hardly!
Jason's a good actor
@@huntermacao5592 same universe from the mechanic
I say the same thing every time I watch it
Weird he went from Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels to now Fast and Furious.
This scene is a classic in its pace, staging and atmosphere -worthy of Hitchcock at his best. No subsequent 007 film even attempted anything like it, and it would be unthinkable today, with dumbed-down audiences wanting only non-stop action...
Agreed. Beautiful scene - never before, never again.

I love Istanbul!!
