I hope they do something with grouping. Party making is god awful and good luck trying to get 30+ people for bosses like Wooden Deer when you're capped at 4 people.
Can you make a video explaining weapon and implant stats? Dps value and attack speed etc are very confusing and it’s hard to compare items.
I've wanted to make such a video for a few months already but haven't had enough time to figure out how everything works. This topic is on my priority list for future videos, so thank you for letting me know you're interested in it.
Never heard of this game before 2 days ago, tried it a few hours and its pretty good 👍👍Regen is fine at the moment i feel, i sometimes chill at a fire or eat but still kill stuff plenty. Markers are good, why npc shouldn't be able to? Quests are quite clear, no wiki needed and getting lost a bit is good. Only thing is the crafting.. why the limited mastery 😢
The issue isn't about whether markers or auto-heal should exist-it's about their shift away from the previously emphasized hardcore experience. While changing direction isn't necessarily problematic, it would be valuable to understand their reasoning behind this.
How can i get T3 recipes? Or t3 implants are only accessible through synthesis?
Currently, there are ways to obtain tier 3 recipes, but the chance is extremely low-around 2%. These methods aren't integrated into regular gameplay. The developers recently addressed this question about tier 3 recipe availability. They said: “We will add Tier 3 recipes to vendors. This change will allow players to focus on crafting and selecting the right gear and stats, giving everyone equal opportunities to progress according to their intended builds. As a result, this will lead to a more balanced and competitive environment for all”.
@@whymeowmeow can you tell me the current ways to obtain these recipes if you don't mind?
@@MrArthys Alumio (Community Manager) in Discord (10.12.24): T3 recipes should hit vendors hopefully in todays patch if all goes well.
I haven’t seen these quest markers that are mentioned, what do they look like?
Regarding this feature, they plan to add better NPC visibility by allowing players to hold certain keyboard keys when the area is crowded. This update should arrive soon, and they'll include details in the patch notes. While I don't expect quest markers to be added, we'll have to wait and see.
Looks like I'll be waiting until 2026 to play the warlock, if the game even lasts that long.
I know many people are waiting for their favorite hero to be added to the game, and I hope they will release them as quickly as possible.🤞
@@whymeowmeow Well they said one per month. I didn't realize they meant sub-classes. Which means we have 3 sub-classes to get through for the current hero classes available. Then, if they're following the character select screen as the order they're going in, we'll need to wait for the the 3 mercenary sub-classes before finally getting to pain reaver. The first sub-class for that will likely be Pyromancer because it's a mage archetype. That's 7 months without delays (of which their will likely be many) before the class I want MIGHT be playable. I currently play Legionnaire and Ranger but they don't really have sticking power for me. Thankfully PoE2 is here to potentially bridge the gap. What class are you most looking forward to?
@@konquezt Yesterday, developers responded to players' questions, including one about future sub-classes. They listed three upcoming additions: 1. Defender, 2. Commando, and 3. Grenadier. This will complete the full set of three sub-classes for Warmongers, Champions, and Bombers. Which class they'll focus on after completing these three remains unknown. My favorite sub-class is Shaman, so I'm fortunate to have played it since the alpha tests. I'm also curious about the mage classes and cleric, but as you mentioned, delays are likely.
love your videos. man i wanna see you growing on youtube!
About the new content: Seems like the devs are starting with the things people care the least about. There's plenty of pvp opportunities. Theres a lack of dungeons. Also, dungeons can be designed to bring that sense of adventure, that they want for the open world. PvP instances and such just remove pvp from the open world. Which ia boring.
I think the new content has such an order based on how complete different parts of it are. I believe this won't remove PvP from the open world since players won't be able to farm valuable items in the battlegrounds-it's just for fun. High-tier equipment will still involve risk due to PvP zones.
About quest markers: The problem was never the lack of markers by NPCs. The problem always was the total lack of clear instructions by the NPCs. It's like the locals don't even know their own town. Additionally, the extremely poor quest log summary isn't very useful. The problem wasn't lack of markers, the problem was lack of proper writing by the developers. The lack of creativity to deal with this issue is appalling.
Totally agree!! I keep saying this over and over on discord. These changes destroy the game's initial character.
I believe they intentionally included minimal quest instructions to encourage players to discover missing information on their own, creating a more adventurous experience, if I may use that term.
@@whymeowmeow but now they destroy the discovery adventurous experience by implementing a location radius which shows the exact location of the quest! That's disappointing.
@@PizzaReadsPoetry Yes, and I'm curious about the reasons for changing course. Maybe we don't know smth...🧠
Not to mention later on the directions are flat out wrong
How do you use the skin upgrade? Is there a specific workbench synth machine I need to use? How do I take what I'm wearing and put it into the machine?
Currently, the only way to upgrade a skin is to buy an identical one or get it as a drop and use the synthesis machine before equipping it. There's no way to remove a skin you're currently wearing and place it in your backpack for use in the synthesis machine. The developers are aware of this issue, as many players have reported it on Discord. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon.
I’m glad to hear they’re changing that! Started a whole new character just to get another chest for my destroyer

The regen changes and quest markers really ruin my hype for the game. Untelling what they will cave to next.

@@AKARazorback I haven't asked or used for a pin besides the odd quest that mixes up West/East.
i appreciate your info drops and all man but PLEASE speak up 😅
Going from 90 to 20 with the regen seems really strange. It shouldve been like 50 - 60 or just always. Its just strange now.
I think it makes sense, now you only make a bonfire when you really need to
Makes it so you still have to have some
This change feels alien to the game after playing in the alphas. It's strange that they decided to change it now, especially since there were no complaints about the healing system during the alpha tests.
@@whymeowmeow if you read their post they did say they are doing this to go with the more camps and faster respawns, which to me feels like it makes a lot of sense, it makes it a lot harder/better to go out and farm camps. I'm all for just going out and farming and i do so a lot but having the option to just farm mobs for a while is a welcome change for me
@@Fabritox5 Are you suggesting that auto-heal provides more opportunities to farm camps quickly? If so, I disagree, since auto-heal doesn't work during combat, and consumables provide faster healing after combat. Therefore, I don't see a strong connection between these two updates.
they absolutely destroyed the game. it always amazes me how quick they cave to the whiners every whim. its been barely 2 weeks and the game is already unrecognizable. campfires = irrelevant due to auto regen regen management items, cooking =irrelevant (due to the same reason) now they wanna give quest markers too? to give people EVEN LESS of a reason to say something or be social or explore? the way this is going, by the time it actually releases this is gonna be just another "blindly follow the big neon marker on the map on autopilot" mmo. lol remember how they used to say they will "stay true to their vision"? ahahaha they literally caved to every single thing the same whiners who ruined every other mmo demanded... pathetic
It's strange to see them moving away from creating something unique. Not everyone will like this game since it differs significantly from what typical MMORPG fans experience nowadays. However, the game will surely find its audience precisely because of its uniqueness. I'm concerned they might abandon their original vision-which many players love-just because a small number of people played for only a few hours after Early Access launch. It would be helpful to hear their reasoning behind these decisions. For now, it's difficult to predict the game's future since it has just opened up to a broader audience. Let's see how they balance their vision with players' desires.
@@whymeowmeow dont kid yourself. its VERY easy to predict. once you start on the QoL/casual path, once you let these people dictate the terms, its over.... there hasnt been a single game in history that went from more casual to LESS casual. its a one way street. it only gets worse from here on out. they games done. over. 4 years i waited for 1 and a half weeks of ACTUALLY enjoyable gameplay... its already ruined
Be real, everyone and their grandmothers was using wikis to accomplish the quests. The vast majority of player do not think like you. Besides they just changed starting quests, seems like a good decision to me.
The problem was never the lack of markers by NPCs. The problem always was the total lack of clear instructions by the NPCs. It's like the locals don't even know their own town. The summary in the quest log was equally bad. The problem wasn't lack of markers, the problem was lack of proper writing by the developers. @@AKARazorback what are you talking about? name ONE quest that was unclear (except for the few where the NPCs literally direct you in the wrong direction. thats just a mistake and it will be fixed. thats what EA is for). but of course they cant tell you EXACTLY where to go and what to do. thats for you to figure out
The synthesis machine is available for characters level 9 and above. Like traditional crafting, synthesis crafting can randomly fail, consuming only fuel. However, unlike traditional crafting where you lose all materials, the resources used in synthesis crafting are returned to you if the craft fails. To craft or fuse an implant or weapon using the synthesis machine, you must first know the traditional recipe for that item. Remember that fusion attempts, like other synthesis processes, can fail randomly.
so im trying to upgrade common mana amulets to an uncommon for the quest.. i have 6 mana amulets and synth fuel.. ive gone to the crafting station associated with crafting implants and everytime i try to drag the amulets or synth fuel into the slots or right click them when in the synth tab itll make that noise it makes when you press a skill thats on cooldown, and a little yellow thing pops up in the center but has no text in it so i dont know what im missing but i just cant get it to work, wont let me put anything in the synth machine for some reason, im level 10 so i would think im high enough, is there a quest or something you have to do?
I see people helped you on Discord. For anyone else who experiences something similar, relogging should resolve the issue.
I put 6 Common items in it and 10times it didnt work so they patched it or something is wrong
If you're standing near the workbench, are above level 9, and have the traditional recipe for the desired fusion, everything should work fine. I haven't seen the developers change anything in this system.
How do you overclok an weapon for example? Could you explain please :D
Let's use a bow as an example. To craft an Apocalyptic Scrap Bow (T2) traditionally, you need several components, including an uncommon quality Apocalyptic Sharp Bow (T1). For crafting with the synthesis machine, you need the same components but with a rare quality bow. The synthesis process adds one chip slot, while using an epic quality bow adds two chip slots.
I’ve got purple T1 from 6 greys so you might have little chance to get higher than what it’s suppose to be
How can you use the machine to upgrade a green weapon using a blue upgrade kit? I tried, put the green weapon, the blue upgrade kit and the synthethic fuel. But Just consumed the fuel and nothing happened. Am I missing another material?
The synthesis machine should work here. Just ensure you're above level 9 to use it. Keep in mind there's a chance of failure during crafting, which will consume your fuel. If you're level 9 or higher, try again-I know several players who successfully upgrade weapons this way.
@whymeowmeow I tried again and it worked lol. Thanks 👍
Combined 6 commun item, with luck can turn into rare or an epic one to
Yes, it was important to mention in the video that the synthesis machine gives players a chance to receive an item of higher quality than expected (known as a "proc"). Thank you 😊
Best guide to synthesis I’ve seen. Thank you!!
WHERE IS THE SYNTHETISEUR PLZ ,,,???
@ go to the crafting bench associated to the gear you’re trying to synthesize. When you click on the bench to open the crafting menu, look at the bottom of the crafting window and you will see the synthesizer tab!
Great video, and awesome game. I'm really loving it. Almost level 20 now! Had some fun fighting bears in a group the other night. Great loot! Can't wait to see how the game progresses if it is already this good 😁
I am just level 10, trying to find the witch location))
This game is SO FUCKED. This makes NO SENSE at all... so if i want to specialise, I cant anymore? Because I already harvested some stuff. And what happens when I want chop a tree to get some wood for a freaking campfire?! Then whoops, suddenly I'm no longer able to max another? Holy shit this is so fucked... basically have to 100% reroll
No, whenever you cut a tree down or mine an ore you will get proficiency in that skill specifically. The summ of all your gathering skill must be always equal or smaller then 100%
If you have for example 99% wood cutting and 1% mining and you cut down some more trees(i don t know exactly how many) the 1% from mining will go to wood cutting.
100% efficiency provides several gathering bonuses: more resources per gather, faster gathering speed, fewer gathering failures, and the ability to obtain rare and epic resources. For example, if you have 100% efficiency in mining, you can still gather from wood nodes-you just won't receive these special bonuses for wood gathering. Think of 100% efficiency as a set of bonuses for your chosen professions rather than a restriction on gathering resources from other professions.
You can lock your efficiency progress by clicking the lock icon under profession icons. This prevents losing progress in your focused professions while temporarily gathering other resources.
@@whymeowmeow I'm new to the game and I don't really understand how the Lock system works yet. How do I lock just one or two professions? It's locking all of them when I click the lock icon.
Thank you Viktor
So complex and yet, the game tells us 0 about the mechanics. Wtf
Is it only tied to implants?
No, besides implants, you can also craft and modify weapons, runes, chips, and skins. I chose to demonstrate how the synthesis machine works with implants because this is the area where I have the most expertise.
Any way to farm Synthesis Fuel or we HAVE TO buy it to npc?
Check the video at 1:10
@@kidchizzie ???????????????????
@@aneau7449 He's picking up synthesis fuel from drop, you can farm it
During Alpha 4, players could obtain fuel from many locations. I believe the drop possibilities remain unchanged in Early Access. However, I understand why this question comes up. I reached level 9 yesterday and haven't found any fuel yet. Perhaps they've reduced the fuel drop rate. This seems logical given the currently weak overall drop balance. I hope this situation will improve in future patches and updates.
@@whymeowmeow I think they did reduce it, all the ones i had were from quests. I'm level 13. However D'Rek sells some for 17g one iirc. I hope too, as it is end game required.
Another question, does rare items comes only on T2 node? Does purple items comes only on red areas?
Yes, you can obtain tier 2 resources only from tier 2 nodes, and purple resources only from tier 3 nodes. Since tier 3 nodes are highly valuable, they are located in full-loot (red) zones, such as the Steppes.
Do you Stream no T? Awesome content
Yes, I do-you can find the link in the video description
does the 6:1 work with raw gathering materials? For example turn 6 moonstone(green) -> neon mushroom(blue)?
The synthesis machine doesn't work with resources. It can help you craft and modify implants, runes, chips, and weapons. You can also use it to improve skin quality. It would be great if it worked the way you described.
Thank you searched everywhere how to relocat the teleport stone to the city, also the splitting items thing was also helpful for trading,
@4:36 You mentioned combining 6 items of the same quality to get one of better quality, but did not show how it works exactly. I ask because I just tried it and it did not turn 6 commons of same item into 1 uncommon of that item. All it did was consume a fuel. Do you know if this is still working or if I did something wrong?
Currently, you need to learn the recipe first. For example, if you want to upgrade the quality of a mana amulet implant using the 6-1 mechanic, you must buy and learn the mana amulet traditional crafting recipe. There's a known bug that requires placing 7 common items in the machine, although it only uses 6 of them in the process. Hopefully, the developers will fix this issue soon.
This morning, i tried to combine 6 uncommon mana amulets to make the green one for the quest, and it seems to fail the attemp. I tried again and it just worked. Sadly the greedy NPC took my amulet for himself....
This seems like an issue that will hopefully be fixed soon 🕵🏻♂️ Imagine how many amulets Griz have already collected from poor corepunkers…
@@whymeowmeow I mean, it's explained dude is taking advantage of us.
it kinda sucks that there is this bug, i just wasted all my synteshis fuel on 5 tries and they all failed. Cool stuff hahah
Great video. It sure helped me. Keep it up.
Good guide - thanks for putting this out there.
Nice Guides! Maybe u can help me out: i want to play a Healer and play solo most of the day, so i think i will choose the Blast-Medic (or is there some better hero to choose that i missed?) For profession im not sure.. i think i will try herbal/Alch. Do you think its a good idea? Thx for ur time
Currently, Blast Medic is the only hero in the available pool who can single-handedly sustain the entire party with healing. You can easily play solo too, as this class deals decent damage once you acquire the right implants. Shaman is also an interesting class that can heal and deal damage simultaneously. In future updates, new classes like Cleric and Pyromancer will also be able to provide full party healing. As for professions, I recommend trying whatever interests you rather than focusing on specific ones from the start-the game doesn't force you to make permanent choices. I've also created a video about gathering that covers professions in detail. You'll find plenty of useful information there.
@@whymeowmeow thx alot for all the info! I will def try the Blast-Medic. Do you think the Pathfinder skilltree is needet for a solo? Or can i ignore it because i can heal myself?
I don't think there's a more useful passive branch you can take as a solo player at level 6 than Pathfinder.
I'm so excited for the EA launch! Hope to see more videos when we all get to play!
Will try my best ❤️
Corepunk is a disaster. Do not play this.
Why do you think so?
Good guide and beautiful thumbnail. It's important to mention that after the first two quests is better to get every quest you find in city and around so you start completely many quests together and not going back and forward.
Thanks you :) Yea, many quests share the same objects but have different purposes, allowing some quests to be completed simultaneously.
Hyped for the 26th. Been binging your vids, lots of nice info.

It's what I'm still waiting for
@@Monk-Darlington Developers said they are going to release one new hero per month. I think it is too optimistic considering the experience with developers previous plans, but still...
@@whymeowmeow well, by all accounts they were in previous builds, either way,not picking it up until some of the other classes im interested in are, well, in.
my biggest want in this game is an auction house.
🙏
Levels 1-5 are so painful that I doubt the game will succeed. The game speeds up a tiny bit after that, but there is ZERO reason to make the brand new player experience painful. Combat is arguably the game's strongest activity and they do everything they can to make it impossible to engage in early on. Also... increase movespeed on roads/paths.
I agree with you about the tough combat experience during early leveling. The question is: should it be easier? The developers position the game as hardcore, though I don't think it's quite that hard-but it's close. Because of this experience, I decided to make an early leveling video to show that the initial stages can be manageable. It's a bit outdated now, and I plan to update it in the future. For now, you can check it out for your information.
@whymeowmeow it's not hard at all. It is tedious. I think giving some out of combat regen for levels 1-3 and drastically reducing the xp of rats would go a long way getting ppl to stick around Or maybe start characters off with 3 skills and no added skill points till 4th level. Just something to make levels 1-3 less like a walking simulator.
From what I know, people use bread and eternal fireplaces for healing-one near Zoltar (rats) and another near Big Mamma. Once you reach level six, you can select a talent that provides passive healing.
I am his friend

Subtitles on -> 11:57 -> "Let's go baby!" - it's a single phrase I'd love to say to author as well as UA-cam auto-subtitles. Do not stop, I'm waiting for new videos
this video to implants looks nice, what u think is the most important profession from the 4 and whats the most useless?
Implants are the most important because there are 6 slots. Higher tiers mean 18 main characteristics empowering your hero, plus the same amount of secondary characteristics. However, they are also the most time-consuming. You need to find a high-tier implant receipt, level up construction proficiency to craft at least blue quality, and spend a lot of time rerolling, as it's hard to get good stats initially. And I’m not even mentioning the need for good crafting resources and a tier two implant to get chip slots. However, remember that you can trade for the implant you want or get lucky with drops from dangerous creatures. The second most important, in my view, is weapons. They have crucial main stats that implants can't boost, like attack speed, which many heroes rely on. You only need one or two weapons, so you don’t have to spend as much time as with implants. That leaves chips and consumables. Chips can empower your hero constantly, while consumables are temporary. But as with weaponry and construction, there is balance here too, since some chips receipts can require resources from all different 4 nods while crafting consumables is the least resource-demanding compared to the others.
@@whymeowmeow thanks for the advice and for sharing your knowledge with me. Do you have any tips on which secondary professions I can combine Weaponsmith or Construction?
I think it's entirely up to you to choose since all professions require resources from all types of nodes. You might find a correlation between your gathering preference and your second crafting proficiency choice. For example, if you decide to do logging and choose implants as your primary profession, it could be handy to choose alchemy. This is because one of the most important consumables, "painkillers," requires blue lotus to craft, which you can get from magic trees. Overall, it depends on what you gather when choosing a second profession.
Cooking is most useless
