I installed mine back in 2021 without checking its BIOS switch. Is there a way to tell if it's set in OC mode or in the silent one? I noticed the fans don't spin until I game. Maybe it's in silent mode because -I guess- in OC mode fans should spin from the very moment I turn on my PC...

that fan led feels like its not working right. i know its supposed to look like this, but it doenst feel right. the plastic is transperent, yet the leds are not using that transparancy and only light a ring around the fan motor hub. that feels half assed

What kind of cables are included with this model? HDMI or Display ports? And does it sag when you put it on the motherboard? It seems like a big card.

Hi, do you still use this card? I would like to ask you about Trixx software and Nitro glow function. How it behaves when you e.g. switch off the RGBs, detach card from PCIe and attach the card once again in the slot. Does the card keep alternative nitro glow setting or it is back to default setting (is it rainbow setting?)? Want to buy this card for using in eGPU enclosure with MacOS. Unfortunately TriXX software does not work on Mac so want to use help from some PC service for switching off nitro glow and wonder if it keeps the setup when I instal it in my eGPU again :) Please let me know. Thanks!

Strix is better for 400 vat bios overclock but for normal user suprim x is better

My BIG Q: Will this card be better for *performance VR use* than eg.g the cheaper nVidia RTX 3060Ti, MSI Gaming version with loads of CUDA cores for ray tracing? Been extremely satisfied with my old RX 580 Nitro+ SE and I see the heritage speaking cooling - nice and serviceable compared to Pulse-versions (still, Sapphire is among the best speaking AMD GPU's).

I have this card so listen to me.Setup a very aggressive fancurve,,,Let the fans go 100% on 50C Celcius and higher and the card wil pump much more frames with a clockspeed above 2700MHZ..Keep the card below 60C Celcius @ any time and this card wil perform 110%.

hello bruh. I have the same graphic card, one week ago its argb lightning had stucked at one colour then all the lightnings went off. I tried lots of things, uninstalling and reinstalling all drivers, updating bios etc... After that issue my graphic card started not to react to smart acces memory option. before the issue I was taking 12 fps more with using smart access memory now this option doesn't work anymore. briefly the graphic card doesn't react to trixx nitro glow option and smart access memory option. Do you have any idea what is going on?

u have to let viewers hear the graphic card on load(at the moment of benchmark) with out music with out anything just for couple of seconds I am considering buying this thing and I have problem with noise, would recommend in ur future videos make a 10 seconds break and let us hear the gpu

The cutout is for the 3090 SLI, the 3080 PCB is missing the port. They share the shroud. Nice video.

I just got my SAPPHIRE NITRO+ AMD Radeon™ RX 6800 XT SE a couple of days ago. For some reason the RGB fans aren't lighting up. Do I have to connect the CARD to the motherboard rgb header to turn them on??? I'm running the TRIXX 8.2 software.

Nice review, 1 question: Can i set the sapphire logo and the stripe to a static white? Got a black/white setup so any random color would look awful. Thanks :)

Pretty sure your card is poorly pasted. I own this card and i peak at 78C, but at only 50% fan speed on the silent BIOS profile.

Hey man please can you help me so I just finished building my first pc and I turned it on for the first time and everything except the gpu lights up should I be worried? I thought it might have been a lack of power because I only used one pcie cable and plugged it into the lian li strimmer but just now have added another pcie cable but it still don't light up? Do I need to flash first or should I be worried about a dead gpu 😔 😢

Hey mate, very nice to see local review! One interesting thing is Overclock 2080TI does improve a lot and keep tracing 3080. My 10900K(OC 5.2G), 2080TI ( +120 core, +500 mem), 3DMark Time Spy score is 16043, GPU score is 16420 which got quite a bit gain then your ref 2080TI. So I guess I can stick with it till the crazy price of 3080 drop back to MSRP.

Great video but I have a question for you, I have this same board however the sticker on the screw bothers me a lot, I know it is important to keep the warranty but would it be safe to remove just it? the others don't bother me that much.

I have this card in a loan li o11 dynamic razor edition with 12 fans push and pull on side Intake 360 radiator aoi for intel i9 10850k 3 bottom intake and 3 top exhaust and my card never hits above 70 and that’s after hours of playing at 240plus FPS on cod. You need to optimize your fan curve and maybe get an aio for your cpu. This card runs cooler then every 3080 I have seen. My friends have the asus strix and tuff and evga ftw and it’s beat them all except the strix in some cases but it’s also cheaper then the strix. I feel your review is just not accurate in my experience also my power draw never went above 450 and that’s was max usually around 415 which is a lot but now anywhere near 500 I have a evga 850 watt not my choice when I went to build but all that was In stock and it’s doing fine with over clocking my cpu to 5.1 ghz

How did you get so high temps?? Silent mode? Mine is 67-72 maximum in gaming mode. Has to be something wrong with this card.
