I bought this same car in same color new in 2005. Absolutely best Car I ever owned cost me $12500 out the door I put 95,000 miles on it before I traded it in in 2010 for a new Nissan versa. Not the crappy versa but the first generation the five door hatchback. It was also great car! Anyway, don’t forget the timing belt on this car. I did mine at 70,000 miles. I know yours has super low miles but it’s probably time to do it due to age age. I hope you still have the car and enjoying it.

Thank you for your Video on the 2005 Elantra. I had a white 2005 myself. My Parent's past away in 2018 and I inherited his 2007 Ford Focus. In 2019 when I bought my Hyundai Santa Fe I figured I was better off keeping The Focuse since it only had 37,000 Miles on it m 2005 Elantra had 72,000 on it so I traded it in for my 2017 Santa Fe Sport. WRONG MOVE! I wish I kept my 2005 Elantra and traded Dad's Focus instead! I had nothing but problem's with that car. To make the story short my Dad and Grandfather loved Fords. I myself never had any luck with them. My Grandfather's favorite car when he was young was the 1932 V8 Ford Roadster. Mine is the 2005 Hyundai Elantra! I wish I still had that car. Don't modify it. I was doing that to almost everyone car and motorcycle I had. Bad idea. Trust me. It is fast enough, and corners like it should. The ride is like a Cadillac. On the highway, my wife looked down at something in the passenger seat. Traffic stopped. She rear-ended a pickup coming home from the Hyundai dealership. She had a new radiator put in. Her car was totaled. She stopped driving, and the money she got from the insurance company went into my Smart Car.

My wife had one,even same color.

You still own it? Still have mine. Its the exact rig as yours, but silver paint color. Original owners 220k, and just did the major maintenance schedule, with new timing belt, w pump, radiator flush and so on. Been in central Texas its entire life. Will never part with it. Perfect condition rust free ones are hard to come by these days. 23 years and counting 🤙🏼

Excellent Car. I own a 2005 Hyundai Elantra. I now experienced the Gold "Check," Light went on without any understanding. I take really "Excellent Care of My Baby!" I was at my Mechanic today. Put that New Device to find the fault. When this answer came up, it said my Tank was needing to be replaced? That's the entire fuel injection system. That's really scary. I just had New Brakes put on, in front. I know exactly when I fell something wrong. (Like Brakes) Any Certified Mechanic's know about a Fuel Tank? Thank You!

I have an 06 I picked up just like yours. I got a great deal on it for just $1700 and it's in very good condition too I'd day a 7 out of 10. I wanna do a few modifications myself. I already have a cold air intake installed which made it run even better.

I'm going Monday to pay and pick up a 98 sr5 4 runner with 135000 miles it is in pretty good shape excellent mechanically everything functions correctly just needs few cosmetics this will b my first 4 runner only 2grand no oi leaks or drips does anyone know the alternators amp output by any chance

I'm going to look at a '98 SR5 with 5 Speed Manual Transmission. It's got 260k miles and it's 4x4. It'll be my first 4 runner and I hope it'll be my only 4 runner for a very long time.
