Where can I get the pipe? Nice work
The best sounding V4 bike engine out there, the Yamaha R1M can't even come closer to this orgasmic sound
Nice riding.... what are you doing on downshifts? Blipping or just letting the clutch out slow?
How did you access that 15mm to remove the top shock bolt?
Is yours overneating too?
Thx for all your videos it's really helps me
So bad 😅
Good demonstration. Don't agree with putting tire lube on the mating surface of the bead. Not only unnecessary, can contribute to tire spin, at least on a race bike. In my experience only a very small amount of lube is needed, if any, on the back side of the bead and none on the rim. The back side is what might need help to get over the rim and a delrin or similar duckbill will slide just fine against the tire without lube. I ended up with a No-Mar because they were available quickly at the time, otherwise would have purchased this Rabaconda. The No-Mar works fine, but the portability of the Rabaconda is hard to beat, and the ratcheting feature is really attractive. I'm still fairly slow with the No-mar but getting faster. No fault of the No-Mar, just my (lack of) technique. Your setup seems like it would make for faster changes.
Теперь я видел всё...
I am interested in your choice to keep the charcoal canister, does it cause a problem when racing?
I kept it on at the time because my bike was kept indoors. It stops the gasoline from evaporating into the room. Other than that it has no affect on performance or racing. Just personal preference and small weight savings. It was eventually removed.
💩
great video well done. i am ordering one now. without nose boogers!!
Not sure if anyone has ever said thank you, but I relied on your video to help me change my linkage plates and it went flawlessly. Appreciate you posting this video.
You made my day! Thank you. I take these apart and put them back together all the time so I figured I'll just make a decent library since there weren't many good RSV4 vids out there. I'm happy to hear it helped you!
@@og_racefactory This is super helpful, ESPECIALLY for RSV4/Tuono owners. The rear exhaust header cooks the shock, and you need to shorten the service interval by quite a bit if you want to keep the performance at the peak.
Great video, thanks for taking the time to film the process. I was just curious, why did you need to swap the fans before reassembling?
I was actually replacing a damaged radiator. Put the fans on the new one
WHY HONESTLY WHY???????????????????? 🤦🏼♂️😞
🤮🤮🤮
Handling wise no good. This rises the center of gravity
Soap and water …soap and water will help a lot. I just order one a day ago. So excited!!
Just tried to take my calipers off, but the calipers dont seem to come out past the wheel without scraping the rim.
You have to wiggle it a little on the rotor so the pads compress slightly pushing the pistons further into the caliper. Then you can easily pull them out at an angle. You are right the big rotors on these make it a tight squeeze which is why the little wiggle is vital.
What a pain!
That was a great demo and review. Thanks
What is the coolant capacity and is engine ice safe?
Is that an aftermarket radiator (larger?)
Nope, same size replacement radiator.
Well done
Nomar works best for all around changing. Nothing beats automatic
The falling out of that metal shim off the tire when you ratchet is a horrible design.
Thanks dude 😊
This exhaust screams " fuck license plate"
Why bypass? Just curious…
Bypasses are only done on race bikes and even then it's controversial if there are really any benefits. I did mine because it was damaged in a crash and the easiest route for me to get back on the track and racing. Many racers do the bypass to increase cooling, reduce weight, and simplify mechanics (no thermostat failure). But I think it's redundant, operating temps don't change, and it's harder to get to safe operating temp. Definitely not recommended for any street applications.
Really trying to weigh the rabaconda against the no mar
I've used both. I'd recommend trying both and it should be an easy decision. Nomar is heavy and bulky and doesn't travel nearly as well as the Rabaconda. For me that's worth it with the portability alone. Nomar you can break beads easier with downward force. Rabaconda breaks beads best once you learn the technique. Apart from that the Rabaconda makes tire changes easier and can be done literally anywhere which the nomar can't do. It was an easy decision for me, but try them yourself and see!
I have used a friends No-Mar tire machine several times and bought myself a Rabaconda Street Bike tire machine. I find the Rabaconda to be even easier to use than the No-Mar due to the ratchet mechanism for the duck head. Another thing I really like about the Rabaconda is the portability. It all goes in an easy to carry bag so I can go anywhere and change a tire. The only thing that I can suggest you buy besides the basic tire machine is the small tire locating rod, 2 drop center tools and the tub of Rabaconda tire changing grease. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase of this system.
@@countryjoe3551 dang I just bought the nomar used for 400 and installed it. Haven’t used it yet though
@@richardcole1280be happy. You'll be fine
Yeah for me I’m sorry I already don’t do anything to bikes for the most part but the one thing I can say I will invest in is a exhaust I don’t care how much it is because it will probably be the one big thing I do my bike. There is a reason companies do r&d that cost hundreds of thousands if not millions into building bikes and the amount of time it cost to make this exhaust on this bike you were probably within price of a exhaust that looked and sounded better
Another great video. I just changed my first tire with the Rabaconda. It's way easier and faster. I was just using spoons before. I bought the Rabaconda after watching a previous video on this channel along with some others. I have 3 bikes and ride about 25K miles a year. So this makes total sense for me and others like me.
Really helpful! Thanks
Hello 👋. For the front wheel , the discs can stay on the whelle or you must remove it? Tanks. Xavier
Discs can stay on the wheel as. The only pieces you want to remove is are the wheel spacers if they are still attached.
@@og_racefactory tanks à lot
I just changed a tire on my bike at home and what a pain. This isn't a cheap tool, but I have 7 bikes so I think in the long run it will be worth it.
Thanks for the video! From bag to back in bag complete process. I am waiting for mine to be delivered. I'm getting old and I've been doing the manual spoon method and the last tire nearly beat me. Good luck with the racing!
Great demonstration/instructions! Thanks!
why is that blue, should be pink!!!
OEM coolant is pink usually. But I use a different coolant.
@@og_racefactory Is there any better cooling for it?
@@labrador3473 not really, it's just that for racing the leagues require non glycol coolant.
OH NO what have you done. If you wanted a Ducati's you should have bought one. I own the exact same model and for me you've wrecked it. But it's your bike , if you want people to laughter at you then that's your choice
Was this intentionally chaotic 🤣
The starter kit is not that much more money, comes with bead grease, brush, and 2 drop center tools, I'm loving it 👍
Yeah I ordered the drop centers and bead grease too. Very helpful!
Good job but why temp bypass?
For me, because mine was destroyed on a crash. Other than that I don't see much benefit to it. It makes start up much more difficult to get the engine to temp. This is a race bike so. I don't mind and it's one less thing that can fail. I don't recommend removing the thermostat for street bikes.
I see, thank you!
horrible
after removing the stock muffler, doesn't the bike go into check mode? And if so how do you fix it?
When installing an aftermarket exhaust you'll need a special tune or map. Like Gabro Racing maps with UpMap. Or an exhaust servo eliminator plug (but this will not correct the fuel ratio.
@og_racefactory so with upmap you don't need servo eliminator? Thanks, planning to do same thing.
@@bautista2045the upmap allows you to eliminate the servo amount other options. So far mine runs pretty good. If you wanted to keep the servo motor the upmap and close the valve when in neutral and then remain open when in gear, not sure why anyone would want to do this unless they can't afford a slip on?
What’s a custom exhaust like this cost ? I’m interested
I don't know how much it originally cost is it was bought by the previous owner from an Aprilia dealership in Belgium. I am selling this one and happy sell at a good price if you are interested 👍.
Love it!!
if purchase a tank and do these steps it should be pretty simple swap right?
Yep it's pretty simple. Not much to it.
@@og_racefactory sweet great video helped lots!
Good job! Tip for next time when you're pulling the tire over the duck head. Use the lever and push it in from the top like you'd be breaking the bead again. It gives you more room to insert the tire iron.
Should really start making more videos of diy and other things on the rsv4. Not many out there at all!!!
Thank you for the support. That's exactly why I started posting these! Got busy recently though but I have more to post. Any thing specific you want to see @grimlock_rsv4 ?
@og_racefactory awesome...na nothing I can think of. I jus like seeing more diy videos on rsv4s. Even the basic stuff like maintenance like oil to hell, changing a windshield to more Hardee stuff like tuneup, spark plugs etc.... visual is always better
@Alex Brigaldi to protect their warranty most people go to the dealer. But if you use Aprilia recommended oils and parts and document it you'll be fine. I do my own work and I've an engine replaced by warranty on a 17 Tuono.
@Alex Brigaldi if it's a 22 it'll have the most recent software and you ran gabros UpMap tunes. I have his tunes on all my bikes and I had to get my 21 updated too. The update was Aug. 2021 update from Aprilia so all 22s will be good to go. If you try Gabros map upload it will tell you if you need the update. But if.iys a 22 you should be fine.
Love the videos!! Do what the pros do = p̾r̾o̾m̾o̾s̾m̾ !
