I understand the concern of Armenians. This small country surrounded on both east and west by two countries who are culturally very close and they (Azerbaijan, Turkey) wish to do with Armenia what Israelis are doing to Gazans, total geno, like the one Turkey did over one hundred years ago by killing some 1.5 million Armenians and pushing many hundreds of thousands to flee their ancestral home. Armenians want both security and better economy. In their view joining EU will improve their lot. Nagorno Karabakh internationally was recognized as part of Azerbaijan. Russian treaty with Armenia said if Armenia was attacked by any outside force Russia will come to the aide of Armenia. Russia's hand was tied on the subject of Nagorno Karabakh. Russia and Iran for their own interest must back Armenia. Iran and Russia should not, must not allow a physical land bridge between Turkey, and Azerbaijan. Iran's border with Armenia must be respected. Turkey must not be allowed to set up a base in central Asia. It is in the interest of China, Russia, and Iran to keep Turkey out of central Asia. Those Turkey Trained Terr or ists in Syria, the final destination is to central Asia, and in bases in Azerbaijan to destabilize Muslim Russian Republics, and further east create headaches for China. Azeris want the Iranian Azerbaijan. The Israelis, Turkey are very active in Azerbaijan. In my view Azerbaijan should be isolated by it's neighbors. The north South corridor would be better to go through Turkmenistan or Armenia, Georgia, and to Russia. The Iranians, and specially the Russians should do more commerce, and flow of Armenians into their countries for work. Recently, I read Russia is going to sign an agreement with India for Indian workers to work in Russia. Armenians have many things culturally in common with Russia. Armenia would be a much better choice than Indians. Final Word, keep Turkey out of Asia. Turks are bad news for both the Iranians, the Russians, and the Chinese. Question, why Russia does not have Radar and anti aircraft missile on Armenian and Turkish border like the soviet times. Armenia's borders with Turkey must be protected, and Armenia be armed as deterrence against the Turks.

Please Keep mind, Pashinyan inherited a disaster piece,he has gotten more Infrastructure work done than ALL the previous administrations since independence. New bridges, tunnels Bridges and infrastructure beyond basic maintenance and repairs. Not to mention the snap election he dope slapped them with. Do you know what " Teapot " refineries of China are ? Those are the only ones that buy Iranian oil . No Chinese State companies do . As Armenians don't make an enemy of Russia but don't be hostile to the west either . Iran is a second rate power both militarily and economically . I think you guys over exaggerate its significance .
