That is excellent, i am so glad you enjoyed it. I can't wait to go back myself, I might even organise a photography workshop / tour there early in 2024.

It is a tricky one, if you photograph someone for tour own gain, you need a release form. If they are in a crowd of people as an event, then you can create that content, but only use it for a book/website/etc for that event. It is a tricky one, you can get sued if an image is sold without their consent. Trouble is it will cost money to sue and for you to defend.

Hi John, thanks for the comment. So most camera manutafturers will have an app which will let you "live view" the scene and trigger the flash. So whgen you take the shot, you will see the result and can adjust the lighting until you are happy. You can usually change ISO, shutter speed, aperture etc.

@Quintin Mills thanks for the reply. Yes I have an app. It just seems like a lot to hold a diffuser, speedlight, and phone. I will try to work it out. Thanks.

@@jds1967 one hand for the speedlight & diffuser on a monopod or stand, the phone on the other :-) You get used to it.

@@HuntersofLight Yup, I seen it & one last year. I'm not in an area (suburbs)which has a lot of great wildlife. I could get a Egret , osprey, some small woodland type birds & even maybe a Blue Hering, POSSIBLY. But your rite about getting out & practicing. I should enter a photo= nothing to loose.
