Im similer. My first impression was from my cousin and he let me play through the roxas episode of kh 2. After that the only kh game i played after was 365 days. Then after a few years i was giveny cousins ps2 and his kh 2 copy and played it. After that i played kh 3 when it came out and now currently im working my way through all of the games.

As a casual fan who enjoys the lore. I love and respect these lore deep dives and theories and this is well written and produced! I am pleasantly surprised that you chose the original dark cloud soundtrack for your video despite the plethora of KH music you could have used!

25:04 I have this theory based on very little that he was given a red herring false name to avoid leaks until kh4 is a fair bit closer. I was just thinking the other day about how George Lucas did the same thing to the Star Wars crew where Mark Hamill was literally the only one who had a version of the script with Vader/Luke's true relationship, but everyone else on the team was kept in the dark. I wouldnt say Personalities lining up is baseless, but seeing how we are unaware of the original X-Blade war I wouldn't put it past Nomura if Demyx was MoM and prompto being the same person would be interesting if after the war Prompto left became MoM then hid in the background as a weakling to make sure Luxu delivered on his role. Hiding as a fool and weakling. Bit of a cliche but still, but regardless. I feel Demyx is definitely prompts nobody with prompto being named Emyde or something. All of them reigning from the true war of light and dark which happens in the true world which would be the realm of Quadratum. A seperate dimension from the universe we are used to. Keep in mind all of the world's we visited were originally one world. So what if they got used to that being the universe when in reality it was a single world and the true other worlds are outside of that contained field we saw in KH2 I'm at work so it's rushed and not explained well but! What if the kh universe is more than what we know. Quadratum resides in a universe with multiple worlds, and the World's we are used to came about once the full world itself was tore into many worlds and in order to contain the overwhelming darkness growing and to halt the war the original war participants on the light side locked that world away right before it exploded into many and its slowly started weakening. Which allows MoM to traverse them, xehanort to gain knowledge of the overall universe, and once sora abused the power of waking he fractured the divide and it shattered shortly after he woke up in his room. The barrier separating them broke with allowed Darkness to start pouring in.

If you look, Astrum can be changed in an anagram to Mastur, and this whole time Master of Masters was a misnomer from an unreliable narrator which was never corrected, and is instead Mastur of Masters. It would make sense since many of the big names in the games are anagrams of something, like Eraqus, Xehanort and Yensid. But personally what I’m shooting for is Yozora is the MoM, majority of the evidence points that way imo. But what that could really mean is still up in the air and how it impacts the story is still undecided too.

17:31 I LOVE how you can never tell if things in this entire series are truly meant to be, if they were there due to reused assets, if Nomura forgot or just didn't intend them (which is always a possibility despite a lot of his intentional plot details--he is human after all). It has players searching high and low for details wondering and even assuming that details are intentional, and come up with all these crazy interesting theories

I think Ardyn is a perfect parallel to Xehanort. They both were supposed to be "Chosen Ones", only to fail at a critic moment and have the mantle passed to someone else. Both saught peace only to seek ruin due to their experiences. Although, Ardyn seems more justified in his hatred as he was cast aside for seemingly arbitrary reasons and the main deity behind the "prophecy" is pretty much an apathetic a-hole. Look up the lore for the "Draconian" for FFXV and you'll see why.

this is my theory why yuzora said "this isn't what i really look like" and "this isn't the real world" because verum rex is a game and because in the real world there is a person who plays as yozora and he asked "how do you recognize me as yozora?" and "why are you using Sora's name?" because the name Sora comes from another game called Kingdom hearts and is not part of the verum rex game

It’s crazy me and my cousin were very young when he gifted me his ps2 and a copy of KH1 that day changed my life forever and even when kh3 came out and I was grounded he came to my house surprising me with a copy of kh3. We’re both adults now and don’t talk very much but those days had a huge impact on me.

My 1st kingdom hearts game was KH2 for how little time you have with her in that game, I still liked her character, but she's also the only one no one asks what sora holds within his heart, what links does he have that are dormant, only she knows at least a bit more than anyone else, and she's currently not saying anything, just enjoying the time she has with everyone, and it's the data version who is willing to talk more about them, the one outside of that is almost worried that if she says anything something bad will happen, like she glimpsed the future and saw what shouldn't have happened, but from the point she warns Roxas, she has kept oddly quiet afterwards, and we know amsum the wise and Riku wouldn't harm her, so where did that emotion go then? We never really question that she may have had different visitors at one point or another, but that's speculation at best, but I'd love for her to get some more focused games or lore.

Could Brain (the one carrying the box) be the 1st high "ranked" nobody? Sense he had to lose his body to go forward in time, and we know that similar nobodies aren't exactly the same as their originals but this would fit the criteria for both.

God, that story reminds me of my entry point into KH, being 358. I knew of Sora from a high school friend who’d talk about KH2 but I never actually saw him, I never actually played as him. Instead, I learned about the world from the outside looking in, from the perspective of the “bad guys,” trying to make sense of who Sora is, why is he important to Roxas, who is Kairi, and why does Xion look like her I became friends with Roxas and Xion and Axel before I knew who Sora, Kairi, and Riku were and that’s wild to me lmao
