It was actually surprisingly quick to make, especially the nagaimo. The ramen noodles also just need 2-3 minutes to cook, so it's very busy-day-friendly 😆

@@kiraku_ni so daily I have access to "Asian Markets" in Amsterdam and they have a pretty nice product range also from Japan but excluding fresh products (like most of the veggies, fish etc). However is much different than what I saw on my recent trip to Japan. And I absolutely love their department stores with food stalls >_>

Takenoko has such a unique texture, so it's fun to eat 😆 The rice also gets really flavorful not only because of the dashi, but because of the aburaage, which still has a little oil in it even after cooking. That makes the rice moist and enhances the dashi flavor!
