The album one feels like JD is venting his emotions and letting us know what happened This version is a dope song inspired based in trauma I like this version more
It's been like 6 years since I first heard this version and it still gives me chills. And i still want the motherfucker who did that horrible thing to jd to go to jail
I find this equally as disturbing as the current version because of the line “Mummy why did daddy touch me there?” This is very disturbing because it shows the innocence of a child because of how it’s said it’s sounds like a actual child is saying it and the fact they are asking why instead of telling just shows how much it is like a child which is so disturbing the singer crying as he screams mummy while the voice fades really just shows how hope is fading for them The crying at the end of current daddy is equally as disturbing As someone who has been csa’d this is really fucking terrifying and depressing to listen to I feel so sorry for Jonathan Davis I just wish I could hug him as something like a flareon for as long as he wants and comfort him
the original Daddy was always disturbing to me, but this is even more disturbing to me. this sounds horrific, but that's what makes it more disturbing. the poor audio quality makes it sound like it's ripped from a snuff film Jonathan's voice sounds slightly higher, making him sound child-like, which works, because the song is literally about him retelling his experience of being raped as a child, so it just sounds like an actual child telling you of how he was raped his screams sound almost demonic, so when you go from this child-like voice to a demon, it's really jarring, as if the child is being possessed telling this story, because the emotion is so strong that he just becomes someone else. this sounds like it was recorded in a cellar, where a lot of times, a child will be abused, since nobody goes in the cellar, and since it's secluded, nobody can hear what happens to the child. overall, this version is disturbing, and i love it.
Just wanted 2 join back 2 the Emo group where my mom doesn't give 2 fucks about me either and she let new daddy say bull 💩 at me 4 a reason 2 get rid of me 😭😭😭😭😭
@@sa-yr6lb I agree. This version comes off as much more artistic, and the ST version is overkill in my opinion, it just sounds too over dramatic and depressing but this version they did it right and just had JD cry for a short while. ST would've been much better with this exact version re-recorded.
Pero que pasó contigo? Ya no subes videos y creí todo este tiempo que eras Xniña feliz que pasó tus usuarios de antes sigues aquí todo el tiempo en UA-cam casi 14 años...
Im pretty sure this technically isn't a korn song it's from Jonathan Davis origina bandl called sexart which is why they had to change the song. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
I'm glad this wasn't the vocal style on the first record as I probably wouldn't have listened to them. Luckily it wasn't and they are my favourite and also the best band I have ever heard....until Ray showed up! Luckily Head came back and it's the proper Korn again ...just with Ray.

there used to play a# but now is a standard
ngl i always fuckin bop to this song, even the official version, the groove is just peak
his voice sounded like a sheep about to be raped
Brings back memories of Napstwr
This version is better I also like how it doesn't make me wanna cry as much as the used version
This demo is better than the original version, in my opinion
0:44 Sounded like bathory
lol your right
Used to be trashed for beer runs in morning bumping this
это демо не 1992, а 1993 года
This version is more listenable than the album version. I tend to skip it.

Now we just need the SexArt version of Daddy....
This is one creepy ass song. I love early Korn. It's so dark and evil with lyrics.
I find it weird that this song took 10 years to come out. For anyone wondering what album it’s on, it’s a track on “Take a look in the mirror”.
Though this doesn’t have Jonathan’s breakdown at the end, unlike the debut album version, it’s still horrific in its own right!
TBH I like this version a bit more than the one on the album, like holy, the instruments and vocals on this.
I don’t what version to like better the demo or the remake. Edit. I like this one better than the remake.
The SexArt (pre-Korn) version of Daddy is pretty badass too...more raw and grungy.
LMFAOOOOOOOOO🥶
i definitely love the demo better, i still like the official version but this ones much better overall
Holy fuck this song is more grimey and disturbing than the original
It's been like 6 years since I first heard this version and it still gives me chills. And i still want the motherfucker who did that horrible thing to jd to go to jail
wait, he wasnt arrested?
@@czarnakoza9697 I don't think so
I heard the abuser is dead. Not 100 percent sure though.
don't you think the lyrics in this demo point less towards being his babysitter?

This, the higher pitched voice and the quality everything, sends chills down my spine
This is the original daddy it’s a demo of this before the remake came out.

The stranger sounds creepy
This song is probably creepier than the finished version. Both versions bring me to tears. The biggest reason I rarely come back to this song.

if been listening to this all week, his voice sounds amazing
Bakersfield boys did such a heavy demo tape. I'm not complaining at all. Just dang, this is good or even better than the studio (final album) version.

Everyone says the later version is better, and yes it is, as a song, but this one is definitely creepier.
Yea this song sounds more malicious, but the later version just sounds depressing.

Is better the normal version and give so much scary but much exaggerated but is good
@@LeadMe2TheBliss Overdramatic? Over a song about how he was sexually abused for 4 YEARS? Yeah.

See I’m glad they didn’t put this out but like in the one that we hear I wish they put these lyrics in it and
The fucking bass line holy fuck
Man that’s sludgy

Agreed

Why are the better songs always in the demo and not in the official album?
The chorus sounds kinda like Alice In Chains.
hahaha

why does jonathan davis sound like the singer from placebo?
