Congratulations! Things must be going well, because of the due date! I’m going to be 60, but, back when I had my kids, I also had a miscarriage. My first was premature at 9 1/2 weeks early, he’s fine. But I spotted all the way through. The problem was I have incompetent cervix. So my next pregnancy I had to get a circolage, where they stitch close the cervix. He was born 6 weeks early as soon as the stitch was removed, and he is fine lol. My third was a miscarriage at 13 weeks, we didn’t hear the heartbeat. My 3rd pregnancy, with the circolage stitch in, was 10 days early, she is fine also. I was shocked to learn that 25% or 1 in 4 pregnancies are miscarried. I had no idea it was that high. The doc said, because of early home pregnancy tests, people are aware they’re pregnant much earlier. Blessings to your family!

For next time, I’d say wear the sweats because leggings pack small. No lounge shorts for March in Cleveland, as a former Ohioan. It won’t be warmer than 55 degrees. You can also separate dry toiletries into separate pouches to fit into nooks and crannies. Assuming your mom has a washer and dryer, you really only needed a couple shirts and could do laundry. But you adjusted as you went along and it worked out!

Ah yes I like my sweatshirts to be loss and comfy too. The Halloween one is super cute. You are doing well with getting rid of things. Yes if you had something for over a year and never work probably best to get rid of it. Oooo the black puffer vest is super cute. The coverups are too long for sure. I like like the pink cardi it looks good on you. A raincoat that works, yep got to keep that! The other black vest is really nice too. And love the being poncho with the toggle closures very cool. Democracy makes long Bermuda shorts. If the difference between your waist and your hips is >10" then you might benefit from a "curvy" fit.

It is very interesting to see how different people are. I went to England for 10 days with 15 L and it was more than enough. I either wash stuff by hand or do laundry in the hostel, so besides what I am wearing on the day I travel I just take 2x shirts, 1x leggings, 4x underwear, 3x socks, 1x hoodie. My toiletries fit in a 1 L bag. I did end up buying a shirt and 3 pairs of socks there so I didn't even use everything I took with me. It makes life so easy.

A strategy for your next trip: Any make up removers or toner can be dropped onto cotton rounds or balls and packed in a small ziploc (I’ve used the pill sized zip tops, as well as snack size). It just needs to be watery. You’ve made your own wipes! So more space allocated to liquids. Along with that, solid toiletries: soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion bar. Even smaller sized deodorant (but I’ve never seen antiperspirant in the bar form). I cut bars in quarters and bring what I need in a Matador or sisal bag. In cold, and I live in Colorado, so I know from cold, layers are your friend. So is an over layer (jacket, coat) with inner pockets. Keep traveling!
