I just purchased (12.2024) X1 Cargon 8th gen for 500$ i7/16GB/256GB/4K for trading. And i am so happy with that. It's served me well. Compact, still very powerful machine for trading, surfing, office, coding. The 4K will drain the battery faster and i have to zoom 200% to see, but it's really nice compare to FHD and if will help my eye when i work long hours on the laptop.The only thing i hate is the glossy screen but I purchased the matte filter screen for 5$ and i'm happy now.
