Yeah, but Boots is more fundamentally-sound and polished than Roy was, who constantly relied on his physical gifts and freakish athleticism before his decline. But, the way Boots uses the leaping hook or gazelle straight-hand lead, and him showboating to his opponent, are definitely similarities to Captain Hook, when already watching many of his performances, without question.

Roy jones jr wasn't as jab heavy. Boots also is leaky compared to roy jones but so far he's shown a brutal chin I like how boots doesn't hug after he takes a good punch instead he stands his ground. Boots Ennis opponents also aren't as good as the ones jones jr fought at the same age.

@Joe88893 Boots was rolling, slipping, and blocking majority of those punches inside, as he kept exchanging and the holding was mostly initiated by Villa, who was taking the most damage. Plus, Boots already showed he has a very sturdy chin, and can take a punch. Villa landing at only 16 percent overall, is not called "getting hit too much" when it's the exact opposite, regarding how solid Boots is defensively.

Boy been doing this since he was a toddler, so it's no surprise to how special he is, but just needs the opportunities from tougher competition to prove his greatness
