First test of a freshly restored classic Ferrari Daytona to check performance and top speed. Although the engine was measured and run in on an engine dyno, nothing beats a test on the road :-)

1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona first shake down test after restoration. On UNRESTRICTED german Autobahn to check the top speed. POV, no music, no talking, just driving and sound. Mezmerizing…! Done 270km/h in my Z4M Coupe and that was plenty enough. This is super impressive, Daytona at 280 easy.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one state operated central gas station per city. From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any more....:-((

@@GPMAX01 I remember when a sports car magazine pitted the Porche 928 against the Daytona, remembering the Porche was a much newer design electronic Ignition electronic Fuel injection low profile Tyres newer better suspension 500CC bigger engine, they were almost neck n neck till they got to around 90 100 MPH then the guy writing the report said the Marinello car said good bye and the 928 was easting FERRARI dust, I like Germans But Italians I love like most of us Greeks do, and of course Italian cars too

What 280 km/h ? For a car built in this year it’s really fast 😅! But ! My car doing 354 km/h !! 😅 it’s a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse Gsx and it’s have 480 horsepower! It’s a Tuning Car
