Hogs At The Power Lines
It had been a while since I had flown either of my drones. This one is the DJI Mavic Pro Platinum. My other is the DJI Pro. The Pro handles windy days much better than the Platinum.
I had focused on a dark spot in the grass near the tree line. Intended to just take a photo and zoom in later. However, I hit the button on the left of the controller and the video started so I let it roll. I soon saw the movement coming out of the dark spot. As you replay you can see that the pigs were already in the shot as soon as i hit record. Just did not see them yet. Forgive the shaky camera. it is not easy flying around Power lines. Even with DJI Goggles. If it was not for the goggles, I would probably have hit a guy wire. Not something to try with just a tablet, let alone a phone. I was also losing signal by going under the power lines and between the tree lines. My boat was about a quarter mile away. Dont want the drone to automatically fly home while under power lines. The drone still records everything well but what I see at the time is a big screen door effect. I could see the guy wires on the way out but it was not a very good picture. the next phase would have been signal loss.

Shrimp trawl small boat setup

This video is my set up for pulling in a trawl net by hand and never stopping the boat. I will take some videos in the near future of it in action. Including the use of the lazy line, bycatch reduction devise in action and how it all works together.

Pretty sure this was a Florida Banded Water Snake. Think it was a little confused. Yes, those are rubber snake boots by Lacrosse.

I had to edit out about ten minutes of the gecko just staring at the water. This is what those cameras can do at night with just a little light from a 18 watt fluorescent Blacklight bulb. The video image was recored to my phone while playing it back from the camera wirelessly. I am pretty sure the quality on the sd card would be even better. Aqua-Terrarium W / WIZE V3 cameras

Added two WIZE V3 cameras inside the terrarium. Didn’t take long for them to put on a show. Emerald swift goes for a not so planned swim. Im not promoting these cameras but if you are in the need for a compact camera for indoor and outdoor use, day or night, these cameras perform really well. The sound is not the best. Aqua-Terrarium Waterfall

A view of the final mod to the waterfall of the terrarium. Powered by a Marine land canister filter and a dc variable speed sump pump. After a while the algae and even moss will grow heavily on the concrete.

About a 3 ft alligator. plus one turtle and a fish. Knew the gator lived in the pond but did not know it was basking when I started the recording. With DJI Goggles I was able to clearly see what it was very early into the recording.

Was Preparing to hunt, launched my Mavic Pro Platinum to see if the pigs were in the area. Recommended that you watch the first encounter to see the reaction that the doe has to the presents of the drone. Then watch part one, then wait till the end of part two to see why she was first responding the the drone in that manner.

How do i get my trawl doors to open my net up more? Exactly what chains do i need to adjust on the doors? Ive googled and googled and cant find a thing. Maybe someone who knows what they are doing can help. Thanks! 20ft mongoose net.

Really sad. This is great content, good idea for video....but the delivery....middle school Public Speaking classes do better. Look, watch some videos yourself on public speaking, learn how to give an Instructional Speech, then retry this. Again, really good content, you just need a lot of help on how to deliver it. No one is born an expert on speaking or film making, so ask those who are good at it for help. You can get better, much better, you just have to try. Best of luck, I look forward to this being taken down and deleted forever, and a amazing, intelligent, incredibly informative one put up in its place....YOU CAN DO IT !
if you were a shrimper, you would understand what I was doing and would not even need to hear it. This was done on the fly. I have since added a manual crane to assist in the retrieval of the sock. do you know what the sock is? If not, then it does not matter if you could hear me or not.

As of this date, this Bald Eagle nest has been destroyed by recent hurricanes. Will be interesting to see if the pare of eagles survived. If so, they should rebuild on the same structure.

I have nothing to lose. My well is not attached to my house. When the pump fails, i plan to install one more like you would install in a house. For the money, good way to get my well going. Installed with unions before and after the pump. Can be removed very easily.
Hi, I want to thank you for your comment about the Buddy heaters here: ua-cam.com/video/M6depy8y-so/v-deo.html I just bought a portable buddy and was going to hook up the high pressure hose to it from a 20lb tank, but after reading your experience I realize yeah, that's crazy to have that setup. A fireball just waiting to happen. Thanks a lot for that very helpful comment. Cool dji vid too.
