I am an avid traveler and would like to show people the beauty of our world through my videos. Hopefully, one or more of you would be inspired to visit the wonderful places that I have visited through the years. My first taste of international travel happened when I got a two-year contract to work in Singapore in late 1983. I was able to save enough money to embark on a European tour with Contiki in October 1984. The tour started and ended in London, visiting France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands along the way. This trip further whetted my appetite for travel. Later that same year, I visited Japan and Hong Kong. I moved to the US after Singapore and it took me four years to go back to my most favorite city in the world, Paris, in 1990. Since then, my wanderlust has taken me to many exciting and beautiful places which I want to share with you through this channel.
Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen
Longyearbyen is the world's most northernmost settlement with a population greater than 1000 and the largest inhabited area of Svalbard, Norway. It is located 78 degrees North, just over 1000 kms from the North Pole.

Very nice video. Thank you for sharing your Morocco trip. We have booked the same tour with Gate1 for September 2024. May I ask if you purchased any or all of the optional excursions? If yes, which ones, and it is worth getting the optional tours?
I took all optional tours except the cooking class. I liked the Fes and Sahara Desert tours. As for Essaouira, the commute from Marrakech takes 3 hours each way and for a non-shopper like me, it was not as enjoyable as the other two. I would have skipped it had I planned to explore Marrakech more beforehand.

Also the other commentor probably never heard of tasting menu and dont understand that such meal are usally way to feeling 2 weeks ago i was in a resturant in florence which has the best service in the world as well as book of 50 pages of wine list including vintage up to 1M euro a bottle 15 pages for water list 10 pages for tea list and so much food that i personally enjoyed that by the end of it you would want to throw up but keep eating cuz is so good

I watched the sunrise behind temple I from temple II on the spring equinox in the late nineties sometime...before that silly boardwalk got built. stayed a week at the "Jungle Lodge"...is it still in operation? Magnificent city of stone.

Hard to hear the description of the dishes! Is this an old railroad tunnel? So how were these miniscule iprotions? How much was this overpriced meal?
It used to be a wine cellar and the scrumptious meal costs 365 euros.
