Lots of comments saying this is a bad location and small gardens. Not really true, to own properties/land this size within London (7mi from Central Ldn.) is unheard of. Problem is that owners don't maintain their properties. At least 16 are derelict, only 3 houses were/are fully occupied according to one resident who was asked around 10 years ago. The owners don't care, it's telling that most houses are owned by offshore accounts... sad really because the street COULD be beautiful.

The only house on that road which seems tasteful and homely is Heath Hall. The road is generally ghastly and a permanent building site. I’m not sure why you’d want to live on a building site if you had that much money, which is why I suppose they don’t and these houses are often left dormant for years.

Bishop's Avenue is depressing. A lot of abandoned lots, like Detroit. The fancy new-builds are ugly. If I had millions, I certainly wouldn't spend it there.

This is a classic example of a very simple yet incredibly clever idea. My 1st driving lesson took me round it about a week after it had been created. It cannot break or be broken and never has power cuts!

It's a lot better than the Magic Roundabout in Swindon, since the lanes give much more clear directions and the length of the roads between the mini roundabouts are longer giving more room. The Swindon one is tight, cramped, and tries to cram 3/4 lanes into a tight confusing mess with the arrows being very vague 😅

When I was living full-time in London I used to go down Bishops Avenue on a bus. I used to look at the houses. I reckon many of the Bishops Avenue crowd made their money by, amongst other things, tithing to a church or a synagogue. Memories! :)

Property at 3:40 - £73,000,000 - and it's a mess, madness.

It's ridiculous indeed ! Busy street enough but many of them unoccupied well. Very sad... Someday... It's street needs such a good figure to be a rule model to make those people want to join together. Still my graduate degree in university of Oxford is the main priority. 🌐🇬🇧❤️

Love this beach

we have a lot of these in our country so I was confused about the word "roundabout". It's used to solve heavy traffic and help have easy access to the complicated tight areas (well, in our country).

A REAL KODAK MOMENT

I encountered this once, just the once in the 80s. Did not understand the weird sign, had to do a 'third exit,' so none the wiser, drove on and went round the inside lane to meet an oncoming car. Both of us stopped. I was hopelessly confused and went round the outside carefully until I got the exit to the M1. I heard the person who designed this got an award. I would have charged him with manslaughter.
