Please watch in HD! Sorry it's been a while since an upload, I've been busy. Just some footage from practice at the new Perris Raceway I pieced together. Shoutout to the crew at WTP Motorsports for making and maintaining such an awesome track! Definitely a world class operation they got going on there. Such a fun track; super flowy corners and big jumps. Also riding a 2019 YZ250F now! Its prett...
A Lap Around State Fair MX Main Track 02/06/2022

Training on the main track! Again, pretty crowded today because Glendale Supercross 2022 was yesterday, so I was just trying to ride smooth and work on my endurance. The ruts weren't very deep, and a lot of them actually blew out! That being said it was a great day to ride, especially being at the track with my dad. We've been coming to this track since some time in the early 2000's when it was...

Warming up, having fun, and enjoying a good day. State Fair MX is one of my local tracks, and it makes me feel super lucky! Came here with my dad, like I've been doing for years, and got to practice some #DadFactoryRacing. It was a little busy today because it is the day after the Triple Crown at Glendale Supercross 2022. But sometimes the traffic is fun and friendly! Still riding my CRF250R wh...
Glen Helen Raceway National MX Track -- First Time --Honda CRF250R

First time going to Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA! It was cool going to such a legendary track with all its history. Super fun! Starting to get the feel of it and loosen up a little. Conditions were... interesting, but I couldn't say they were bad. Doesn't help that I went out first thing in the morning, so the track was still wet and super loamy. Still riding my trusty old 2006 Hond...

State Fair MX Park in Perris, CA. First time at this track since it was called Starwest a bunch of years ago. Just having fun. A few clips, nothing much really. Sure am rusty, but track my progress as I get back into the grove. Doing this thing for all those older riders and the dad riders out there, showing we can still hang. 2006 Honda CRF250R Recorded with my GoPro Hero 7 Black on a Chest Mo...
CRF300L Rally - First Thought Review - Why most dealers in the world don't have them in stock
Переглядів 42 тис.3 роки тому
Please like, comment, and subscribe to keep the content going! My first review of the CRF300L Rally. Its a great bike, but most dealers for one reason or another don't have them in stock at the moment. In fact, I waited months for mine at the dealer, and all of theirs sold before even seeing the showroom floor; straight from crate to customer. I think the Rally is a special bike, and Honda is r...
LEGENDARY Motorcycle only produced for TWO YEARS - Honda's BEST FIREBLADE - CBR954RR
Переглядів 88 тис.3 роки тому
Watch till the end for some awesome GoPro footage! Quick video about one of my favorite bikes. Watch and hear the aftermarket Yoshimura exhaust, and see why this bike is one of the coolest ever produced! The CBR954RR Fireblade was the last of the 900cc Fireblades, preceded by the CBR900RR and the CBR929RR. It weighs close to what a lot of modern 600's weigh, and it has tons of power! The bike r...

I had a 2002. Sold it to my next door neighbor who still has it. Two reasons for selling it. Riding position was wrecking my back. Speed and bat poop insanity of bike was going to wreck my existence. LOL Have an 07 DRZ 400SM, more upright and less spaceship warpy. LOL I miss the Fireblade but glad it's still next door.
I gave $3000 for one with 3000 miles that needed tires back in 08. I rode it for 2 years without a steering damper. A few tank slappers and a couple death wobbles had me put a GPR on her. Braided brake lines and a Micron slip on. Fastest bike I've ever owned. She was stolen during my third year of ownership. Later got a 600RR then later......a heavily modded Super Hawk 998......loved that Super Hawk!
I had one for 4 years from 2012 to 16. Sold it to my next door who still has it but threw a rod through the block. :( I never went or parked that bike anywhere that it would be susceptible to theft. It always stayed in the locked gate part of my back yard, or in the monitored parking garage at work.
@@VBMichael_D Lived in the river bottoms way out in the styx. Stole it during a late night thunderstorm.
The insurance gave me $5500
@@jamesipock3669 OOF. If I get to ever move out into the styx, my lot will be patrolled by a crew of Great Pyrenees or Ovcharka's that will not like anyone but me. :D I currently have a GP in a 1200sqft house on a .22 acre lot. You can't get near the fence without being 'greeted' by him.
@@VBMichael_D If a thief wants it bad enough, they'll get it.
The new 2024 1000 cc model is just 18 MPH faster. SO WHAT? Save your $$$ with a 954
I want one. And love the scenery too
Am selling mine2002 954rr. Hollywood florida. Need the cash. 3000..00
Can't watch this due to that monotonous fake music
I’ve been looking for one for years. Finally found one!! Love it
The legendary CBR954RR is now a collector bike. You're right, if you find one in good condition with low miles, plan on paying $6K to $8K for an unmolested 954.
ditch music
I have owned 4 of these and still own the 4th with 6500 miles. All 2002s black and silver same as this video. The 2nd one I put 25k on it before selling.
I love the new bikes that came out recently, they are amazing. I would love to own the newest... but i have a thing for the 954 and i am not entirely sure why. I'm not an old rider that suffers nostalgia every single day, i just really like it ! It looks like such a solid machine. It has that SOLID BODY and it screams "i don't give a fuck!" Do you know what i dislike? Small bikes!I'm a big man and i recently saw some riders on the new Panigale and it looked hilariously out of place. It's a small bike! The dudes looked quite regular (around 80kg each) and they looked like they're trying their best to fit on a small bike. Rider on a bike is kinda like pants on a butt. IT HAS TO FIT. You can't just put on something hilariously small and pretend it fits...
It also states, but in a calm manner, "I WILL kill you if you do not have any riding skill." LOL
Where did you get those flush mount turn signals?
I just Bought a 2002 954 not a fire blade but it’s extremely clean with 14k miles paid 4k cash here in Ohio
Man I need to know one more thing about it. It is flickable as a 600cc. I want it for track purpose because of the price but I don't want to feel so much weight on curves how do you feel the handling?
So, I've raced a CBR600 in WERA, and have riden the R6 and other manufacturers 600s and 1000s too. I think the 954 is a great track bike, but it won't handle as well as modern 600s. It's suspension and handling on par with most 1000s up until about 2010s models in my opinion. It's not bad though, you can feel the weight, but it's surprisingly nimble and stable. I guess if you were to invest in suspension it'd be nice. but I can still throw it around pretty well. If you want a bike to have fun on though, it'd be a great track bike. It's a blast to ride, and very forgiving power wise (surprisingly). The power is manageable in corners compared to some 600, probably because of where it's power band is
@@vettrackhero64 thank-you, I think it's will be good for me, due to the low price it will be honest to invest into a shifter and some good suspension kit. Hell yeah I'm gonna buy it!!
If you slow down you won’t have to fill up so often. 😂😂
I hate to agree with this since it limits my chances of collecting one down the road. I miss 2002 red on black. The only thing it needed was a slip on high mount exhaust and ohlins steering dampener to make the bike perfection.
Also a Finnish Army Leopard 2A4 at the end
🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
Good video! Personally would’ve liked the music to be a bit quieter
Got one this afternoon. 24k miles and running very strong. Has Erion exhaust with power commander. Love it!
One of the best bikes by Mr. Tadao Baba. The father of fireblades.
What steering dampner do you have ?
Yeah it look like mine Fabian Gomez is stolen from me
Sorry bought an SP1 in 2001 Twice the bike and holds four times the value or more. The blades were good but the 1000 class fours were all outsiders. A good race class 3/4 was actually far superior until a few years after the wsb capacity changes. To make things worse lap record speeds don't take into account the capacity changes. OMG it's a new record from last year's 50cc moped to this season's 1200cc. Seriously. That's like comparing a honda winner to 29 other riders on ducatis of which most didn't finish. But they got on the podium in 2nd and 3rd. Only joking but. Hmmmm Wsb from 2000 to 2003. 50% start of ducatis. Oh yes honda win!!!!!! Oh and again!!!!!!! Oh TT iom !!!! Oh various others!!!!!
Had a 954. 02! ! An 07 1000, & a 17 , 1000 RR SP. STILL , liked that 954 the best , !!
I just bought one for 2k but the guy had no clue how special the bike is
Nice old school bike..I'm feeling tha hell outta that background beat tho..😁😁😎😎
I have it from 2016. With some mods I reached 150.6 hp at rear wheel.
I had a red 954. I was the second owner. I had to let it go. Hopefully it's still on the road somewhere.
The 954 was a bored out 929. It loses a lot of reliability and was somewhat fragile. No way it want a used one. I'd rather go with the 929.
You see more 954s out on the market than 929's though. But for sure the pistons, cylinders, and crank need replacing more often, and they're super hard to find nowadays
Hmmmmm....is that why there are so many 954s out there with more than 30,000 miles on them? They may have thinner cylinder walls, but they are not less reliable. If you have any issue with the 954, it will be due to not being vigilant and replacing the cam chain tensioner, and that would be on the rider/owner, not the bike.
Extremely beautiful ❤️
Always wanted 954 just couldn’t find one “ but eventually I got one RR 3 have it 2 years now and love it definitely one of the nicest looking blades out there class “ ps oh and I have a 92 original twin head light one as well I have it 22 years 😮 my mates call me the blade man “” blade for short 😂
I had the privilege of riding a TC51 and a 954 within a week of each other. A friend was trying to decide with of the two he would purchase. I Preffered the 954’s in-line 4 over the RC51.
Damping. Dampening is making a cloth wet/moist.
My 02 954 came to me with 8,000 original miles on it totally restored traded a 03 636 and a 07 gsxr 600 for it both project bikes . Best trade I ever made and fast enough for me for shore
Leaning like you're on the track...reallly?
I got a USGPRU championship to my name bro, just let me re-live my younger days.
just picked up a 2003 blk/grey with 35k miles....where did you get or how did you make that Shorty yoshi exhaust, Ive been looking for one but can only find fullsize. @vettrackhero
My 02 954 has 76000 miles on it. I got 42 mpg on a trip I took. I think gas mileage is good on it. My buddy bought it brand new in 02 and put 75k miles on it before I bought it from him. I love this bike
Nice video man
Yup, great bike. Except for the shallow piston skirts, that will eventually result in piston slap. So if you buy one now, get ready to rebuild it. Not hating on the bike, I own one myself, but that's what it is
💯 piston skirts definitely a weak point on the engine. Luckily mine isn't knocking yet, but they wear fast, and replacement parts still run over $1000 for all pistons and rings
My fav sub 1000 blade
My man, did you cut down the yoshimura or do they sell a shorty? I just picked up the exact same bike. Thank you
This bike is the one of the sexiest bikes ever made and feels better than 1000RR from 2004 and more.
I'm really wanting a dual sport this year. And originally wanted the CRF 300l but not wanting to wait 8 to 11 months for the freaking bike! That's ridiculous.. and I believe the klx300 are in stock in most places. If not I'm getting the drz400 the hell with it!
I love this bike and I have a few of them. If you like the sound here is a video of my stock 954 and my blue printed motor 954 the difference is night and day with power and sound 🤙 ua-cam.com/video/3RT6lnDj15E/v-deo.html
How does it directly compare to the 600rr?
Are you serious dude, theres loads of them for sale dirt cheap 😂
thats kinda subjective to where you live
I found one with only 8k miles for 6500$ lmao, it’s the very reason why I’m here
I like the way you hang off it when youre going so slow
