Burnout Paradise - GAMEPLAY: Speed, Takedowns, Jumps, Wrecks and Bikes
Переглядів 12 тис.13 років тому
Burnout Paradise is probably my favorite game of the PS3/Xbox360/Wii generation. The PS3 version is shown here. There is so much fun to be had with this game. This video is all about the fun, showing off some speed, a bunch of takedowns, then some crazy jumps (and stunts), some impressive wrecks and even a short sequence near the end with the motorcycles. I used my favorite car, the Jansen P12....
Daytona USA Comparison - Saturn, Saturn CE, Dreamcast
Переглядів 13 тис.13 років тому
This is a video I made many years ago (the video file has a creation date of April, 2003) comparing the graphics and framerates from various versions of Daytona. All games were recorded from real hardware. Lap 1 is the original Saturn version. Lap 2 is the Saturn Circuit Edition (it's the Japanese version as I hear it is somewhat better than the USA version, but exactly in what way I am not ent...
Genesis/Mega Drive Digital Audio Examples

How well can the Genesis/Mega Drive actually reproduce sound? As I refuted in a previous video, the Genesis/Mega Drive has a bad reputation for its digitized audio and I am here to refute that again. Watch, listen and enjoy!
Lonely Gauntlet 4

Gauntlet IV is so lonely, will it ever find a place to fit in? It just wants to be loved, is that so wrong?
Road Rash - 3DO/Playstation/Etc

This is footage of various aspects of the "32-bit" Road Rash that I did a long time ago (before Game Sack). This game was available first on 3DO and then ported to the Playstation and Sega Saturn.
Street Fighter Zero 3 Sega Saturn

This is a video clip of Street Fighter Zero (aka Alpha) 3 for the Sega Saturn to use in my review of the game over at www.the-magicbox.com/forums/showthread.php?p=475080#post475080. Load times were not edited down.
Mr. Payback (1995) clips
Переглядів 27 тис.16 років тому
Mr. Payback was billed as the world's first "interactive movie". It was written by Bob Gale and starred Billy Warlock. This was not a product for a videogame system, but actually released to a few movie theaters around the country which specially equipped one of their small auditoriums with 3-button joysticks on each seat. It used technology provided by the company Interfilm which ran the movie...
Sega Classics 5-in-1: Disc vs Cartridge

The Sega Classics 4-in-1 and 5-in-1 discs had a few enhancements over the cartridge versions. This shows exactly what was changed.
Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2 Clips
Переглядів 2,7 тис.17 років тому
Super Monkey Ball is one of my favorite games ever. Part 2 is almost as good. Here are some scenes of my playing ability. I may not be the best Monkey Ball player in the world, but I'm certainly not too shabby. Enjoy!
Genesis/Mega Drive voice examples

The Genesis/Megadrive is quite capable of quality digitized voice reproduction. Therefore you should go out and buy 20 systems and 3 copies of each game right away! Recorded from real hardware.
Sega CD Hardware Scaling and Rotation Examples
Переглядів 66 тис.17 років тому
Many people felt that the SegaCD didn't offer much over the standard Genesis besides better sound and grainy FMV. As you can see from this video, that is not the case. NOTE: Yes, I know Bloodshot came out on cartridge and ran the same, however I did not know this at the time I made this video. Please forgive the oversight and enjoy everything else. These are examples from many games that use th...
I swear ive heard the “Get ready” from space harrier II in the arcade version of outrun before
"you hoe"
Don't forget the "WHOO!!" and "C'MON!!" from Sonic 3! ;)
Toy Story and Mortal Kombat have some of the best voice samples ive heard on the genesis
I think the worst sega genesis voice is the girl scream from the streets of rage games. Your ears will bleed
Yum Yum! 🙂
Big brain hardware moment 🤓
HA! Take your dirty sack of games and shove it! the SEGA CD ISNT EVEN RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SCALING IN BLOODSHOT! LOUSER! Joe sent me here
One of the biggest factors on voice quality was also ROM space as most early games were only 4 Mb in size or even those lowest two or even one megabit as well as the sound driver that was being used and whether or not the driver was using the Z 80 order 68000, I think a lot of older games on the genesis/Mega Drive used the Z 84 PCM playback for the most part especially launch ever say games or games reprogrammed by SEGA themselves and like Altered Beast used the SMPS sound driver think was it the pre-Z 80 and it was the same with Golden Axe and Space Harrier II, and Strider used the 68k revision of the SMPS sound driver which was clearly capable of clear voice samples but then it did help that Strider was on the first ever 8 megabit cartridge.
The voice samples in Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends are also very good.
I can't believe you have this. I love FMV games. It's too bad no one ported this to current consoles, given the Digital Pictures upgraded releases.
I'm not sure of anyone can answer this for me, but can the Sega Genesis/mega drive do the Danny elfman Batman theme music while running a game?
Huge SPOILER the Sega MegaDrive Genesis NEVER needed a 32X, it was all Tom Kalinske and Joe Miller's Greed based idea to exploit and scam Sega Genesis owners while sabotaging the next generation launch of the Sega Saturn which was officially announced in January 1993 as being released by late 1994. Therefore the SoA fanboy Peetus lied to yall all along to spin a story and make you suckers believe that 90s Sega of America management staff weren't responsible for the massive failure they caused since the mid 90s to the late 90s.
I'm surprised you didn't mention either Streets of Rage games, or Paperboy 2
It’s funny how people completely forget about the sound that plays when you boot up any first-party Genesis game when they say that this console can’t do voices.
None of these were playing in the Genesis, so this entire video is false!
You are incorrect. Sort the comments by NEW and look for marbistacio's comment thread. I like a file you can download and play in your own Genesis if you have a flash cart.
@@GameSack All of these sounded to high quality to sound like Genesis digital audio!😐🫤😑🫥
*WELCOME TO YOUR DOOM*
This video is old.
Its almost old enough to vote.
Snes is still better ngl sorry
Dune 2 had decent voice
1:09 when I hear a crystal clear voice coming from a Genesis.
This was the cd PERFECT SELECTION KONAMI SHOOTING BATTLE II, you are not playing this song on Genesis
Yep, that's where the tune came from. And yep, it's playing on my Genesis. How? Same way I got my voice to play on my Genesis... digitizing it to make it work on the console.
@@GameSack so could you show us your are using digitized version of the song with the conversion process? Also why 32x sounds worst?
@@marbistacio I literally said every sound in this video was done by the Genesis with the exception of the 32X Tempo.
@@GameSack i know you said that, but what if your proof?
@@marbistacio Download this file, unzip it and play it on your Genesis. Then go away. www.gamesack.net/crap/GRADIUS3.zip
Why is the genesis audio better than snes, I thought it was meant to be worse (I guess it could be cart space or not a good enough engine to handle the quality)
It's a too expensive add on, with no great games
*Mega Turrican is good too & amazing music too!* 🎵
What about Sonic CD?
Still impressive considering these were played back using a mid 70s CPU, and being an American chip I doubt anyone at Sega could read the documentation.
I used to imagine if Sega ported their arcade super scalers onto this system. Would’ve been so awesome back then!!!
SEGA Had been promising for years to bring the pure arcade experience home. No one really thought that they could do that with 256-512KB game cartridges, but now we'd paid 300 bucks for the memory and superscaler hardware, and we'd been jipped.
I liked Billy Warlock a lot more in _Society._
Tatsumaki Senpukyaku (竜巻旋風脚) 0:13
Game Sack: Episode 0.
I'm just more convinced than ever that, instead of putting tens of millions into the 32X, SEGA should have put that same money into games, tools, and marketing for the Sega CD + $49.95 SVP LockOn cart with its 20,000 polygons/sec.
1:07 lol i had used this sound in my song Kilocides
Show do Milhão 2 is the better example how good voices can be on the Sega Genesis.
Yes one will change me mind
What about the “WOO!” and “COME ON!”?
Video's alright, but i like the Vapor Trail Sega Genesis title theme music
The SF2 ones are hilarious.
Soulstar and Batman returns truly demonstrate how much untapped potential the sega cd had.
And 3 ninjas, Soulstar, AH3, Cliffhanger...
Bloodshot is not Sega CD you sick r*pist, dumb ass. I hope you will never achieve anything on UA-cam!
Doomentio
1:24 Deltarune Jevil?
In anyone's humblest opinion, is the Sega CD better than the 32x or the other way around?
For actual games, the Sega CD was better integrated into the Genesis, had better sound, and played at 60fps. It actually had some of the best games of the 90s, Snatcher, Sonic CD, Soulstar, Final Fight CD...
SEGA CD graphics like mode 7 from snes?
what is the name of the music?
"Vapor Trail" from... Vapor Trail check out the Arcade version of it too btw, it features some sick guitar samples.
This is extremely smooth frame by frame.
Humble beginnings…great to hear & see the passion the prototype to gamesack I’ve been watching game sack for over a decade now.
Love this game, I played this as teen at a barber shop and later on I owned the psp version great memories
Fun video although I felt there could be a lot more to it. Like throw in what the SNES can do with high quality digital audio as well and you've have a veritable sack's worth of sound to show off.
I know this is old but looking at Soul Star, especially the indoor tank/mech parts tells me a competent port of Doom could have been done on the Sega CD. Addendum- I would have left out Bloodshot. There is actually a cart version of it that runs almost identically to the Sega CD. That's right, scaling on the Genesis was done and done well.
Some of these sound like they are from the ps1 even the ps2 in the style they're made. Mostly Dynamite Headdy.
